The Grand Hotel is stunning and outside appearance is spectacular. Must be honest we did not stay here but we had a drink in the bar. It’s nice but the stunning and amazing appearance of the outside does not carry through to the interior. It is nice and the view from the bar over the private beach is special. The corridors and stairway and lobby is nice but not the wow I expected. The bathroom was very nice but the entrance door opened out on to the corridor and had the look of a steel door on a ferry. I was expecting ultimate luxury but did not feel it. The private beach, spa and private parking give it five star status.

Sofitel Grand Sopot is a beautiful hotel that looks like a mansion (it used to be a casino). The hotel has a private beach, a beautiful park and a wellness area. Upon arrival at the hotel, our rooms were ready. The rooms were cozy and clean. Don't forget to take advantage of one of the special evening services - a salt or bubble bath (free of charge). We also visited the wellness area during our stay. There is a swimming pool, a Finnish sauna, a steam sauna and relaxing loungers. We spent the next day on the hotel's private beach, where we had comfortable beach beds and loungers. We booked our stay with breakfast, which was served at the Grand Blue restaurant, which overlooks the beach and the sea. The breakfast was very tasty and in addition to the buffet tables, a delicious menu was available too. Therefore, we rate the breakfast as above standard. Later, we had dinner at this restaurant (you can read more about the Grand Blue restaurant in our next review). In addition to the Grand Blue restaurant, the hotel also has Le Bar, where we enjoyed dinner the next day (you can read more about Le Bar in our next review). The hotel is furnished with older furniture, which adds to its special atmosphere and you can find Vogue magazines everywhere. If you are planning to visit Sopot, we definitely recommend this hotel👌🏻
