Location was excellent however everything else was not. 3 pillows between 2 people and when we asked for another, advised there were none. Breakfast very disappointing, with an infestation of flies everywhere. The orange juice machine poured out water and when the coffee machine broke no one fixed it. The undersheet on the bed was plastic meaning each time you moved it made a noise. Walls thin, could hear neighbour snoring all night. Toilet in foyer: none of the hand dryers working and a soap dispenser fallen off wall lying in the toilet. Staff not eager to help with anything and watching eating breakfast so felt as if I was being rushed out.

Everything was great except the first night where our room was not made up ever though we hanged the door sign

We had a one night stop in Gdansk and the Ibis brand is one you can trust. I asked at check in if there were any upgrades available and the guy on reception checked availability and gave us a premium room. The room was as expected, clean comfortable and the extras like a coffee machine and large shower were nice touches. There was a decent Polish restaurant right outside and we were meeting family for lunch the next day so the location was perfect. All staff were professional and friendly, so in this budget range you would be lucky to find better?
