We stayed here for a night after a road trip from Meriton Suites and Rydges, and honestly, it wasn’t a great experience. The room cleanliness was well below standard — there were marks all over the couch, and while putting our bags down, we found a bra left behind from a previous guest next to the chair. That’s pretty unacceptable and really shows a lack of proper cleaning. It’s even more uncomfortable when you’re travelling with female guests. I raised it with the duty manager at check-out, but unfortunately the damage was already done. We were here to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and the whole experience really took the shine off it. Pretty disappointing overall.

Stayed in room 1101. The main curtail was off several hooks on the end. We had to pull the curtain over and push the single bed against it keep it closed. There were two used panty liners in the bathroom bin that must have been overlooked when cleaning. The bathroom smelled of urine. The main door also didn’t close properly. It almost had to be slammed.

Room was very tired, carpet lifting in places and air conditioning rattled all night. Absolutely no recognition of Accor plus status. No drink vouchers provided at check in, no gift in room and no room upgrade (not even higher floor or better view). When queried about drink vouchers and welcome gift we were provided vouchers but told that welcome gift was now only platinum and diamond.

Dinner was a real nice spin on Thai green curry. A special mention to the lovely lady at reception on my check in . She was very friendly, polite and very helpful. The lady assisted me beyond my expectations with the issue I had and went above and beyond to make my stay extra special and enjoyable. Please pass on my gratitude and thanks.
