Our visit was pleasant but spoiled by a poorly maintained room. The toilet seat was very loose to the point it could not have been a recent problem. I understand previous guests may not have wanted to mention it but surely cleaning staff must have noticed. The shower head was also a real annoyance. The fitting above the large shower head had a huge leak and sprayed water over the top of the screen door. Because of steam on the glass this was not noticed initially so we almost flooding the bathroom floor. As we didn’t want maintenance interrupting our stay we had to wrap a towel around the fitting to prevent further problems.

Staff were OK to good. The property fell short of expectations. Our room wasn't well cleaned, the entry door didn't close properly without assistance, the end of the curtain had come away from its curtain hooks, and previous guests belongings were left in the shower ( brush) and near the bed (sleep mask).The front office/reception and car staff were polite and engaged, but overall the experience was lacklustre We chose the hotel because of its proximity to sports precinct for an event the next day and I wouldn't do that again. It was a very utilitarian experience.
