We didn't actually stay at the hotel. My mother was unexpectedly admitted to hospital on the day of our booking, so we were unable to travel. I tried calling the hotel approximately 12 times between 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm to let someone know we wouldn't be arriving, but no one answered any of the calls. While I understand the booking was prepaid, I found it very disappointing that it was impossible to reach the hotel during that time. Receiving a "thank you for staying" survey when we never checked in was also frustrating. I hope the hotel reviews its phone coverage and guest communication, as being unable to contact the property during an emergency is concerning.
