I enjoyed the location of the hotel, however being placed at ground it was exceptionally loud with people coming to and fro. Fortunately I'm not too light a sleeper. I appreciated the ammenities in the room: a washer & drier, a mini stove top and utensils making an ideal for longer stays. The room was obviously clean, however I think the hotel could invest in having a few cleaners in to do the deep cleaning and polishing of the room that normal housekeeping just won't get too.

My second stay within 6 months. My 1 bedroom apt was well equipped but I would prefer to have a coffee machine instead of instant coffee. However as we are opposite a surf club & other small shops plenty of coffee was available. The pools at Breakfree are the best on the Sunshine Coast. Accessible transport to anywhere on the coast right outside the resort. I am already booked in again for next year, and as I am a local who has now had to give up international travel, Breakfree is going to be my R&R place for a year or 2 now. Excellent service & staff.

Checkin lady was very professional - Room 422 Was disappointed to be allocated a room where there were 2 well known problems with the room. One being a nearby permanent resident smoking on his balcony forbidding us to sit on ours and a Hum in the room from a faulty rooftop fan unit. Room only got the sun from 7 to 10am. Bathroom/laundry was untidy and shower had shower residue on outside base that with some effort could be removed. Bed was very firm and uncomfortable to sleep on. I not sure as a Manager I would be happy to see a Diamond member allocated this room. The outside stairwell to the rooms was untidy and I expect had not been swept or washed for many weeks. Was nice to see the outside tiles on each floor being commercially cleaned whilst we were there. Couldn't understand why the stairwell wasn't cleaned at same time. On discussing the above issues personally with the Manager we were moved on day 3 of our 9 day stay, which we appreciated, to Room 342. Room had a great bed. Room lacked a sharp knife, what I expect was classified as a sharp knife couldnt cut bread it was so blunt. Cutlery lacked desert spoons, had soup spoons. H/W was controlled as we would return after being away all day to be find luke warm showers. Called to reception and they denied controlled heating as said we needed to wait 45 mins for water to heat up as cyclinder was small. Sadly room above was being renovated but we received no Notification this work was being carried out. Notification would have assisted us to plan our day so as to be away from the unit. Put this down to poor management, as I do to most issues. I witnessed the Front Office Manager Rebecca telling a Guest waiting for their room to be prepared that Wifi was not available in the Reception area and would need to wait till they got to their room. My wife accessed the wifi at reception to get a document printed so why not let a Guest access it whilst waiting for their room. Under current Management this property does not deserve to be part of the Accor Group. Would be very happy to discuss my comments with someone as I believe the Manager needs further training to focus on " Managing from the Front Door " as I believe if the manager did room inspections or walked around the property they would identify issues that can easily be dealt with, but without any inspections, nothing will be pristine for the Guests.

Regarding the Wi-Fi, our team can certainly assist guests with connecting their devices once they are in their apartment. Unfortunately, the Wi-Fi connection process for individual apartments cannot be completed from the foyer, which may have been the context of the conversation you witnessed. My recent stay last week was my 30 th stay in 4 years to the day. It was a special memory and the team made it even more special with gifts, cuddles and special congratulations. I’m there every 5 weeks from my home in Townsville. After staying in many rooms over the years I have been very happy with them all. I have a list of every room and notes about each one.😁I definitely have my favourites but luv experiencing new ones each trip. I’m back on 1 st October and waiting to check out another room. The gardens and pools are maintained daily and are beautiful. The night time views from the 4 th floor are truly stunning. The beach is literally a stone’s throw and is beautiful to hear the and see the surf and sunrises. My Heaven🙏

No cupboards or shelves to put clothes in/on and nowhere to store suitcases to avoid tripping or falling on them. Had to store clothes on top of washing machine. Extremely dangerous height of lip to get over when entering and leaving shower. No handle to assist which almost resulted in a nasty accident. Had to use a stool which was also dangerous. This needs to be addressed. Pleasant garden and rooms were clean. We'll situated across from the beach and surf club.

We stayed 2 nights bed ok but un fortunately the room was not great , sitting on the lounge we could see the dust under the bed and my husband got the broom and there were several item s left by previous guests Lounge had a tear in it , air con did not work properly and was smelly as it had not been turned on for a while. The bed had a sheet only with a bedspread on the end and only a single blanket in the wardrobe

The location of the resort is great, rooms are great size. However, the pool was badly maintained, it was green with visible algae on the sides of the pool wall and stairs.

Annoying that the lift was our of order when having to .carry luggage up several flights of stairs. I knew this was a possibility when booking, but could have been confirmed at reception when checking in. Air con didn't seem to work. TV was difficult to operate. Bathroom is outdated and shower recess sealant had visible mould.

Young man at reception was very helpful. Elevators were being repaired, which was not the hotels fault, but still made it a bit difficult to get to the room. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean. Compliments to the cleaning staff.
