We paid & booked 2 x 2 bedroom apartments. One was lovely, modern & clean as you would expect. All it required was mildew removing from blinds. Other apartment was upgraded to a 3 bedroom. However the 3rd door was locked. This apartment was totally unacceptable. Broken air conditioner, no aircon in down stairs bedroom, toilet seat required fixing & cleaning, toilet roll holder broken, dirty walls and doors, mildew on blinds, bed was a cheap bed & mattress with a stained filthy mattress protector. And the list goes on. After complaining verbally twice and sending an email to the Manager at Twinwaters, along with photo evidence, spending 2 very hot nights in the unit, we were offered an appropriate hotel standard 2 bedroom apartment. Which was to the standard you expect from The Sebel. Hence this is a very mixed review. It all depends on the apartment you get.

Group of 9 of us stayed in neighboring beach houses. Was good. We didn’t leave the resort once we’d arrived and settled in. Likely to do it again in the future.

Family weekend getaway

Our adult kids and partners enjoyed the Beach House over three days. All sleeping is upstairs which didn’t seem to be a concern with a two year old toddler. Down stairs is spacious and a well equipped kitchen and bbq. The verandah opened to a grassy parkland and then onto a sandy beach, over look the incredible lagoon. The apartment is fitted out with everything you could possibly need. Fresh and modern. All you need is your food and drinks….. and sunshine! If you have never experienced the Twin Water precinct book it! There is absolutely everything to offer. Catamarans, canoes, stand up paddle boards , trivia, quiet pool space and only a five minute walk to the patrolled beach. Thank you to the lovely staff and the trivia queen.
