Love Mooloolaba and the Location of this property, wehave stayed at this property many times. The truth is a lot of maintenance and refurbishment is long overdue, especially the dangerous shower/baths.

Absolutely lovely stay. Couldn’t fault anything. Staff lovely. Great views. Large and spacious lobby. Checkin couldn’t have been easier or more pleasant (thanks Darrin). We arrived early and they were gracious enough to give us access to our rooms. We were a family of 8 adults and 2 small children. We booked 4 x 1 bedroom units and were rapt when we were allocated all 4 rooms next to each other on the 8th floor. We paid the bit extra for the refurbed rooms and they were excellent. So glad we did. Interestingly all of the apartments had slightly different configurations but were all pretty much the same size. Some had bigger bedrooms which were good for porta cots and twin beds, whilst the others had a slightly bigger living space. Good size for 2 adults plus 1 child. Might be squeezy with any more persons. The kitchens were modern and well equipped. They had all the basics you would require. No Nespresso machines but there were a plethora of coffee places downstairs! Any basic necessities such as towels, toilet paper, tissues etc were available to top up at reception whenever required. Any maintenance issues were dealt with swiftly. We appreciated the note and surprise gift after a couple of very minor issues were resolved. The pools were great and the break out grassed areas with bbqs were very welcome when traveling with small children, something a lot of other properties in Mooloolaba can’t match. Pool towels were provided. Location at the end of the Esplanade was fabulous. There is a great kids playground and beach with rock pools directly opposite, with the patrolled beach further down. (No earth works out the front like further down towards the lifesaving club…. Big positive atm ) Being located next door to Coles and Priceline was such a bonus. Large carpark underneath for those driving or with rental cars. I’ve read reviews that the corner was a bit noisy…. The apartment doors and windows were very thick glass and we did not have a problem with noise at all. Infact the corner access was great for pickups and drop offs. I would thoroughly recommend Mantra Mooloolaba.

We love coming here. The only downside is that you can’t open a window (back room) or turn on a fan. You basically have to have the air conditioning running all night for the comfort of the back room. And it isn’t quiet! We also would have liked to plug in our tv box but couldn’t.
