Great location and staff and service Room outdates in lounge area need more than an old 2 seater couch and small tv not up to your standard requirement

Met on arrival in our room with a lovely welcome gift and handwritten card acknowledging our status. Our room had a spectacular view up and down the coast. Reception was lovely and tried to be helpful. The room was a little tired and bed was extremely uncomfortable. We asked for a mattress topper and they obliged however it still was super hard and uncomfortable. Please fix the beds!!! Unfortunately we had a smoker in the unit below us which disrupted our stay with the horrible smell of smoke on multiple occasions. We rang reception twice and they said they would speak to the manager and see what they could do but didn’t hear anything to follow up. The pool area has been refurbed and is nice. We paid $400 a night to stay there and were very disappointed at the new policy of no room refresh. So no clean towels or beds made etc. For the price per night I was disappointed in this policy. We stayed there to be loyal to Accor but I’m not sure we will be back in a rush. As is it is really only worth no more than $200 a night. We are platinum and no breakfast is offered as there is no onsite restaurant. There is a cafe downstairs and perhaps they could make an arrangement with them or offer breakfast vouchers or something. Location is great but the stay itself was a bit disappointing.

I’m very sorry to hear that several aspects of your stay did not meet expectations. We apologise for the discomfort caused by the bedding, and we appreciate your patience while our team arranged a mattress topper. Your comments regarding the mattress will be shared with our management team for review. I’m also sorry for the disturbance caused by smoke from a neighbouring unit. We understand how unpleasant it is, and I apologise that you did not receive a follow-up after reporting it. We will address this with our team to ensure better communication moving forward. Regarding housekeeping, our current room-refresh policy is designed to support sustainability initiatives across the property. That said, we understand that expectations differ, especially at the price point you mentioned. Your feedback is extremely valuable and will be reviewed as we continue to refine our service delivery. With regards to breakfast benefits, I’d like to clarify that the complimentary breakfast benefit for Accor Live Limitless Platinum members is only available at Accor properties with an Accor-operated restaurant on-site. As our property does not have an Accor-managed restaurant, we unfortunately cannot provide the Accor breakfast benefit. We understand how disappointing this can be, especially for our loyal members. Overall a great holiday. All staff very friendly and helpful. One gripe was trying to check in at 1.50pm and being told no, then having to join a long line of people at the back trying to check in - surely 10mins wouldn't have made any difference. Apart from this lady being quite adamant that we couldn't check in, all dealings with the other Reception staff were great. There was also a young gentlemen cleaner on our floor who was fantastic - credit to the Mantra. We did have a broken toilet during our stay and maintenance spent approx. 2 hours fixing and water all over the bathroom floor - this was inconvenient.
