We love the friendly people, proximity to town, great walking paths and access to Sunshine Plaza via local bus service. Our unit was in good condition and a bathroom light bulb was quickly replaced. Good shower with constant water temperature and strong flow. Loved the ‘real’ beach themed pictures.

I’ve stayed at the Mantra before but with friends . This time & on my own it disappoint as it felt private yet so close to the many restaurants and shops for all you needed. The staff were excellent and so were the locals, so I was never lonely . Really enjoyed the pool and garden area to relax in and looking forward to returning in 2027

Disappointed in the apartment we were allocated. Was on a lower level so obstructed sea view. It supposedly offered a fully refurbished kitchenette , but instead appeared tired and worn. Bedroom area was not really separate as formed part of passage from entry door. Despite this facilities of complex and location were great.

Expected to have a room with balcony and view of the sea. First room (108) had no view and in fact we were faced with a 6 foot hedge and the pool traffic passing us. We could not have stayed a week in that room and in fact felt like just going home! Spent 1 night there and were relocated to room 815 for the next 6 nights and had to pay a cleaning fee. This room is located on the south side of the hotel and had sun from 7am till 8:30 and a narrow glimpse of the sea. Our agent had told us all rooms have wonderful sunny views of the sea - not so. Staff tried hard to improve our stay.

Unfortunately, the room was allocated according to the room type booked by your travel agent. Our Standard One-Bedroom Apartments are allocated from Level 1 and do not include an ocean view. We are sorry that you were incorrectly advised that all rooms had wonderful sea views. We have also followed up on the concerns you raised during your stay with the relevant departments, including the washing machine instructions. Room is due for a revamp. Replace the spa bath for a large shower. An updated TV that can accept guests screen mirroring. The worst part was the traffic noise but this wasn't the hotels fault. Fire alarm went off at 0230 and the staff should have been wearing a high vis fire vest so they could be identified. A supply of blankets to make guest a little warmer would have been a nice gesture.

We appreciate your suggestions regarding updating the room, including replacing the spa bath with a larger shower and providing a TV with screen-mirroring capabilities. We’ll certainly pass these recommendations on to our relevant departments for consideration. We also apologise for the inconvenience caused by the fire alarm during the night. Your feedback regarding staff visibility has been passed onto our upper management team to review. We do have a fan in the bathroom, however, we have reported this to our Maintenance team to inspect and ensure it is working properly. Please also note that we have a 24 hour reception, and additional amenities and supplies are kept at reception. Our team is always available to assist whenever you need anything during your stay. Poor start - our Premium Ocean View room did not have the beds separated and we were informed this was not possible even though we had booked a twin room. We wanted a walk in shower, not a bath which further complicated the process. A room was found, a very nice young man came and separated the beds. Refurbished shower excellent, kitchen ok but rest of apartment very tired and run down, certainly not the oceanview superior room we had booked. Hana contacted us before we left to advise a refund of $40 per night for the difference between the room booked and the room found for us would be arranged for us. Thank you.
