Great view of the water from our room. We struggled with the concrete bed in the main bedroom. Had to resort to using blankets under us to sleep on and still ended up with a sore back. The Sebel staff said they would buy a mattress topper for the bed for future guests. The shower in the en-suite leaked water onto the floor outside the shower and the shower head struggled to stay up. The room safe in the main bedroom was locked so unable to be used for valuables. Found we didn’t get to use the balcony at all due to the high winds up there. Would probably go for a normal balcony room instead of paying extra for the extended balcony room. Other than the lack of sleep we had, it was mostly a nice stay and convenient to places we wanted to go to in Maroochydore and Mooloolaba. Staff were nice and did try to help us with the bed situation.

As a couple we enjoyed our stay at The Sebel. We loved walking the beach either way and enjoyed the close proximity of 2 Surf clubs. Our apartment had a lovely view and comfortable bed. There was a bit of road noise due to a few rev heads but we got used to that.

I have stayed at tge Sebel before and again found the stay pretty good. As I said last time, the coffee/tea is very poor and outdated. It's really time to add a Nespresso machine, as sachets really say cheap accommodation, which based on the price its not. Also dont just provide 1 spare loo roll, as that is just stingy for a weeks stay. I do believe the apartment needs some light maintenance. Taps leak if bot very tight and up top between shower and vanity looks like it may be mould? Outside the empty 'gardens'/water features let you down, though this does not effect my stay. Of course the garage door being broken was unfortunate and no sign of repair for a week was disappointing. These small matters aside I had a good stay.

Was an excellent stay for 2 couples on the Sunshine Coast within walking distance of 2 Surf Clubs for dinner and walking distance of Aldi for supplies.

Got lucky I wasn’t left stranded as there were 2 other guests who remembered the key box passcode. Otherwise would not have received the keycard

This was due to a technical issue, which we have investigated as a matter of urgency.
