staff where lovely and helpful, only disappointment was it took 4 days for the internet to be connected to our room

Service of room was average. Floors under lounge cabinets filthy. Not enough toilet paper. After cyclone had passed would have been nice to offer outdoor furniture to be moved back. It was impossible for me to lift the table. Toilets were not cleaned during service. Floors not swept or mopped. 2garbags for 5 days…?…?? I have stayed in many units at Zanzibar and elsewhere and this unit702 was very average.

Regarding the outdoor furniture and we regret that assistance was not proactively offered. It was had to monitor given the wild weather and high winds we continued to experience after. This was our 7th extended stay at Zanzibar and again enjoyed all aspects of our stay. Our 2 br apartment had been recently refurbished and had all new appliances. Air con was very effective and apartment had all the facilities one wants for an extended stay. Booking, checking in & checking out was seamless and undercover secured parking is a big plus, as parking around The Esplanade is very restricted. Cyclone Alfred was approaching over our last few days there. Communications & preparations from Zanzibar Management was exceptionally good. Our only disappointment was the wifi. Reception was very weak & could only connect if sitting at the table in the middle of the apartment. IN previous stays, we have not experienced any issue with wifi. We have flagged this to management in our feedback to them. We highly recommend Mantra Zanzibar ..excellent location, excellent service, well priced and very clean & well equipped apartments to stay in

We had another great extended stay with you, however 2 things disappointed this year. 1. The very poor internet service. No access from balcony or main bedroom. Bad buffering on foxtel. Contacted Support Area, who refreshed the server. Fixed Foxtel buffering, but no improvement to internet access on our devices. This has never been an issue for us in previous years staying there on levels 10, 9, 7 & 6. 2. We always request ( & did again this year ) that we be allocated a room on level 5 or higher. Veronica confirmed this with us when we booked on May 2024. We were placed on Level 4. Other than the internet issue, Room 403 was well presented /appeared to have been recently refurbished, however as a regular extended stay client & Gold Accor Member, we expected that our request to be on Level 5 or higher would have been accommodated ( as it has in previous years ). Other than the above, every thing was great. Your staff are friendly, helpful & responsive. We appreciated the updates re Cyclone Alfred, noting that Cyclone Alfred had very minimal impact on our stay .... We expect to be back again in Feb / March 2026

Always a great stay with great location and room. The internet connection is dreadful and needs to be upgraded. Did mention to reception. Hallway lights on level 2 need to be on a sensor as are very bright in the bedrooms of our apartment. Will be back. TVs did not connect to internet either
