There was no hot water the aircon wasn’t working the employee lied on the phone when they said they would call me back in a few minutes about 30mins later still no callback I rang again and they stated they did ring back and someone answered the phone saying I didn’t need to move rooms which there was no other guest in the room apart from myself it was 1:45am at this stage & said they would move me to another room I said no a bungalow or I want my money back or credited if they were to downgrade my stay, in the end it was 2:15am & they moved me to a different bungalow but again no hot water to shower after finishing work in the am still no hot water until about 10:30am when the nice maintenance man came & sorted it thank you but the quality of cleanliness & the staff need bettter customer relations

Appreciate the flexibility to find me a room available at check-in upon early arrival, but unfortunately quite disappointing after that. Some serious maintenance work required to bring the resort back up to scratch. Unsafe areas with a couple of witches hats is probably not acceptable. Also my TV did not work. I tried to call reception on the first night multiple times with no answer. I left a note for room attendants the following day and the note was still there when I arrived that evening with no fix. I attended the last hour of a work conference on my final morning and came back to find that someone had finally been to the room and fixed the TV. No communication at all from the hotel.

Dissatisfied. Hard to find rooms, lack of signage. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Party on my last night was noisy and reception was unavailable. Staff were great all The same.

I loved this hotel. It has so much to offer with the pool, lagoon and beach all together.the location is a bit far from the city but that’s not a bad thing if the hotel had more to offer by itself. It only had one bar, this bar had no life to it. Only one restaurant, and the small shop/cafe was very limited with stock. It didn’t have still water for example. The hotel has so much potential but just lacked some life and we felt it was torn between being a quiet resort or a family retreat. There was lots of kids around the day we went to the pool but had to leave because it was too much splashing and ball throwing so we went to the lagoon. But again I think it could have done well with some other options for guests to go without leaving the hotel. I really liked the hotel in general and I would go back but would probably go back with a group of friends and do some canoeing and that. I didn’t know there was also other activities very close by the hotel until my last day. It might be worth checking in or hotel staff telling guests what options around around or even provide a flyer with nearby features, if it they are not directly with the hotel. The pool was cold, could consider try heating, solar heating for sustainability reasons.
