All the facilities were closed, we were not advised of this until the morning or our stay, via email, after we had left. No pool, no restaurant, no gym, so we paid top dollar for a room, not good enough, this is the second time we've had this at an Amcor hotel, there won't be a third time as we will never stay at an Amcor establishment ever again, my review on Trip Advisor also states this, you have lost us as patrons for good.

Both of the rooms we had were filthy. The toilet has old pee stains on the toilet seat, the bath hadn’t been cleaned, there was hair all through it, there was dirt and sand all over the floors, even old ear buds still left on the floor. We couldn’t use any of the restaurants for dinner and received a voucher but every time I called or tried to process the hello chef takeaway it kept declining or saying the chefs have missed your order. I walked down to the restaurant to order from there and it was so busy I waited for at least 20 minutes and ended up just going to maccas. Obviously hosting the storm was much more important then the rest of the guests that had booked earlier in the year! We won’t be back!

The unit was not clean with dead bugs in the bath. The floor was dirty as were sliding door tracks. The fridge was noisy when trying to sleep.

Not good definitely not recommended to anyone because after we got our out dated room we also paid full price and didn’t receive a discount as we were informed we would being a part of the wedding group. Had no access to any of the facilities and still paid full amount. And for the room the pillows were extremely worn out the bathroom shower had no pressure it was a dribble and the aircon was hard to operate

Footballers had many key facilities shut, my husband has stage 4 cancer so was meant to be a splurge to features but found the closures of pool bar etc disappointing. I appreciated the discount and the service from staff that was exceptionally however unfortunately the former took the shine off what is usually a fantastic stay

Sadly a lot of the facilities (restaurant, bar and pool) were unavailable due to a good portion of the resort being made available to sports teams because of Covid. However I totally enjoyed my mini break as it was quiet, my in-room dinner was very nice, breakfast at Lilly's was lovely and my room had a bath (which I love).

My booking was made 9 months before my check-in date and it was only 3 days before check-in that I received communication from the resort that all public areas including the restaurants, bar and pool would be unavailable during my stay. Between covid-19 restrictions, onsite alcohol restrictions and the last minute imposition of a football team taking over the public areas, there was very little value available at the resort for other guests. As we were there as part of a wedding party, it would have been nice for the resort to have considered these impacts and offered assistance in coming up with alternatives other than going off-site to other venues. Had I not been there for an event, I would have cancelled my booking.

Staff were fantastic and so accommodating. It was just a shame that we weren’t advised beforehand of the ‘covid bubble’ that existed at the resort. I was made aware that the pool was not able to be accessed during our stay however I thought it was just a covid restriction and not the fact that it was part of the ‘bubble’ seeing as though the bubble people travelled to the beach anyway out of their ‘bubble’. Other than that our stay was great, food was delicious. The only issue with the food was for me, the breakfasts were too large and I couldn’t eat all the food and I absolutely hate food going to waste. Will definitely be back.

So I got to Novotel, was really confusing. Since most of the resort is in lock down basically no ammenities were able to be used. Go to check in. Learn my king sweet has been downgraded to a crappy queen room. IT WAS MY WEDDING. So I was really upset that the nice suite I had booked wasn’t the one i got. We booked 2 rooms one had no aircon. The others phone line was cut. And half the powerpoints didn’t work. So the room I was supposed to get ready in was boiling hot and my wedding night was in this dingy room and it really upset me. Probably won’t be able to stay here again. Also most of the staff were amazing just the overall stay was crap.
