The room didn't have a bath tub, but last stay we had both shower and bath tub. It was a shame that on both nights the main restaurant was not open for dinner. The Spa Pool was absolutely freezing (water temperature device must have been malfunctioning) The main swimming pool looked dirty on the bottom. The Executive Room we upgraded to, seemed to have beach sand on the floor, so we had to wear footwear all the time. Other than that the beds were perfect, and we had a lovely and peaceful stay. Thank you.

Great stay despite very wet weather

2 night stay at Novotel Twin Waters. Unfortunately very heavy rain the whole time so wasn't able to make the most of the all the facilities, the lagoon looks ideal for swimming especially with kids. Garden view room appeared new, nice balcony overlooking gardens and a few friendly wallabies. Great shower, reasonably comfy bed, great pillows (hard to find in hotels..). Fridge and kettle in room. Aircon was a little noisy but it was cool enough to leave it off at night. Takeaway menu from restaurant was prepared quickly. Easy to get an Uber to/from airport. Looks like the hotel is still in the process of being modernised, some older features.

Poor Cleanliness and overall short on resources

Reception was unattended when I arrived and only one staff member on the desk in the morning when trying to check out. There were issues being experienced by other guests that led to significant delays. Cleanliness of my room was unacceptable. A soiled, stained wash cloth was found in the shower left by the previous occupant. There was also stains on the mirror in the room. Room allocation was also annoying - put right next to the Games room and next to a service alley - I'm quite sure the hotel was not even at 50% capacity.

I've stayed here every year for the past 6-7 years to run my event at Venue 114 Bokarina. Each year the hotel seems more run down & things are not as good as the year before. This year my room had no remote for the bedroom tv (& I looked everywhere), bathroom tap was leaking badly & there's now no room service at all. So, I walked up to the restaurant to get some food to take back to my room - I threw most of it away, it was terrible & pretty much inedible. Staff are super friendly as usual (although I had a couple of long waits at reception waiting for someone to come back to the desk) Honestly, I don't think I'll be back. Even the lunch I had the day I arrived was very very average so you really need to look at it.

Malcolm & I were away for our 14yr Wedding Anniversary, the food was beautiful and rooms have been renovated really well. We have two children and understand kids can be unpreticable, however we were put right next to a family with two young childern and during the night and early morning there was alot of crying & screaming which woke us numerous times. It was disappointing that some thought wasnt put into having a couple right next door to a family with two young children. You were not busy and would of been nice to of been further away. We do not get away much as own our own business and having children of our own, we were looking forward to a good night sleep and possible sleep in which did not happen at all and feel a Resort should consider in future putting a couple next to a family with children.

Too dear , I pay $434 with breakfast included for 2x adult. And it needs renovation. Aircon is noisy at night time.It’s okay but not worth it for the amount I paid. But thank you.

Fantastic stay, service, food etc. for our Workshop, but we were over-catered for! There seemed to be sooo much food wastage! We had done with the Dinner package, but could have easily done with half the food and half the drinks package. The portioning of the food serves were huge, and over multiple courses, there was no way were were going to consume it all. We tried to give feedback, but it was too late and the food kept coming! We could have done with a third of the amount of food and still had left-overs. It was all delicious though and we gave our thanks and compliments to the staff and feedback that it was all too much. My other feedback for the room is recommendation for the bar fridge to be contained inside a cupboard to minimise the fridge noises. I had a very restless sleep and kept getting woken up by the noises my bar fridge was making when going through its defrost cycles.

Disappointed in my stay in the overwater bungalow

I am still awaiting to hear back after making contact but have received this feedback email. I'd really appreciate if someone who respond to my issues from my recent stay. Absolutely shocking from check-in to arrival. The only positive was checking out had a fast track box to put the key and leave. Way overpriced for the condition of the bungalow, cleaners clearly aren't capable of cleaning, hair on the dressing gown, blood on the bathroom wall. These are apparently revamped however from entering the bungalow it doesn't appear that way. Lack of empathy to help is just disappointing. Apparent 4 star quality resort but I cannot understand why that would be, it definitely didn't feel like a 4 star resort between the lack of customer service, cleanliness and quality.

Check in and reception were pleasant and courteous. Bar and Restaurant staff were also polite and accommodating, however each morning there was an uncomfortable conversation about our breakfast and each time the staff member advised they would fix the roster. It was a bit “Groundhog Day”. Breakfast was tasty and flavoursome but a little on the cold side. The most disappointed experience was having to pay for barista made coffee in the breakfast area. Room was a 1 bedroom suite, it was a little dated as it was the same appearance as when we stayed there 10 years ago. Room staff were in and out and prepared the room to a high standard each day. What was concerning was the outdoor balcony posts that supported the upstairs area was rotted and not supporting are weight whatsoever. Rain gutters were also rusted and in desperate need of replacement. This damage would have been more than 3 years old. Last concern was the absence of a day spa, the choice of staying at a resort is for the convenience of staying on site for all activities and amenities.

My Husband and I stayed two nights at this lovely resort, the pool had just had a major upgrade and was really lovely. The facilities available were fantastic as its situated on a tidal lagoon so plenty of water activities available, but best of all was the food. The buffet for brekky was great but the Asian Buffet for dinner was superb nicest Asian food I have ever had. Pity we weren't there for the Saturday night buffet which was seafood. Our room had a lovely view over the lagoon and was so peaceful we even had Mum wallabies and their babies come and visit one still in the pouch. Will definately stay again.
