Over crowded under staffed

Arrived at 2pm asked if we were upgraded as we had just been sent email. Asking if we would like one off two options. But would have to pay. So after waiting we were sent to the worst room. FAR AWAY. My wife just had TWO Knee Replacements. We were booked for 6 nights .so I cancelled 3 nights. Asked why being a PLATINUM Member. We were allocated such a bad room.

Improvements needed

The hotels wine list needs improvement. It has very cheap wines and does not cater to anyone, other then, the cheapest drinker or someone who does not know wine. Also when the temperature is pushing 35 degrees, you may wish to put the red wine in airconditioning, not sitting in the outside bar turning into vinegar. The meals could also do with some L.. Although the meals read well, once they were served they lacked flavour. Also name your meals correctly. A chicken paddy should never be described as grilled chicken. Finally, I understand that there is only so much money to maintain facilities, however I witnesses one person cleaning leafs from the bottom of the pool whilst two staff supervised. Mean while the pool tiles surrounding the inside edge of the pool had a dirt and skum layer on them that was getting on peoples chests and swim suits when they appreached the edge of the pool. In the 3 days I was there this was never cleaned. Needless to say, some attention to detail would not go a stray at the resort, if you intend on continuing to attract guests. That said, the grandchild loves the offerings for children. Please just lift the standards, so that the adaults can also enjoy the stay.

Nice resort

We visit this resort every year and generally have a great experience. However, this time we encountered a few issues. The room we were assigned had a very uncomfortable sofabed that my son couldn’t sleep on, and there was a strong, persistent humid smell in the room. Upon arrival, we also found the sheets on the sofabed damp and sandy, although the staff promptly replaced them when we brought it to their attention. Additionally, there were many people drinking in the pool area, and some were using glassware. My daughter even found a glass at the bottom of the pool, which I consider a significant safety hazard. That said, the staff remained friendly and attentive, and the common areas were well-maintained as always.
