Resort and rooms very outdated basic and run down. Bath stained was this clean or permanent staining?? Coffee cups not same size. Neither where the wine glasses. Is this normal??

We arrived at 13.00 on Friday told our room won't be ready till 14.00. Told coffee shop is shut and we then asked where the gym was we where then told that is was shut for a refurb. Was directed to the Bar area to get coffee. Was then told that they had NO electricity. I just wanted to go home right there and then seriously. But we where there for a Wedding and had to stay. I would have definitely went elsewhere as the Novotel was not providing what is advertised. So why should I pay??? Not a good 1st impression. To make matters worse we where situated on the 2nd floor my husband is 74 and had great difficulty with the stairs. There was No offer of assistance either. Not impressed at all with the Venue it was more like a 2 storey Motel. However the Reception Food and Beverage staff where excellent and the Food was delicious except brekky it was pretty ordinary scrambled egg was very Bland Bacon overcooked and tough. will be thinking twice whether to return or not.

We were upgraded to two suites as the rooms we booked were not available. There was a bit of initial confusion about this and we were also incorrectly given the wrong room that caused concern. The issue was resolved quickly by staff and handled well. We were celebrating my mother's 65th birthday and staff gave her a card and some complimentary drinks which was a nice gesture.

room was really nice with a good view, food and drinks at the resort were all satisfying. Enjoyed the amenities at the resort and getting to walk around on foot and not have to worry about driving and parking anywhere.

Staff pleasant but we were not aware of the current renovations, could be okay once have been completed.

We stayed for two nights to attend a conference. All meals were delicious: breakfast, lunch and dinner. Room was comfy. Staff were most pleasant. The bath could just do with a grab bar for an easier exit.

The games room was great for the children. However it would appear there is no introduction of fresh air into the games room. As it became fairly stuffy with 12 people inside. Especially with the covid situation fresh air introduction(air changes per hour) greatly reduce the spread of air bourne disease. Friendly helpful staff, great setting, just slightly outdated, though to be expected after the year we’ve had, overall well worth the effort to get there. Would definitely recommend, especially for a family trip.

Oasis between river and ocean

Excellent location - easy access to the patrolled ocean beach and the quiet river waters. The lagoon in the middle is a great bonus for the activities offered. Easy drive to Maroochydore / Mooloolaba in case the restaurant at the resort does not satisfy your needs. hotel rooms are not big, just standard, but we did not spend much time in the room - there is so much to do outside. We will definitely come back for our next relaxing holidays.

We have stayed here many times and have always found it to be most enjoyable. They have renovated the foyer and bar areas very nicely but rooms are yet to be done. We are Accor members so were given a fabulous upgrade. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
