We paid extra to upgrade to a nicer room however we were placed in an old, unclean and very smelly room. A request for a room change was denied as apparently the resort was booked out, which wasn't true as several other colleagues attending the conference with us were moved to nicer rooms. We also asked housekeeping on two occasions to place domestos and/or bleach down the drains as they absolutely stank, but it never happened. I stay at many Accor properties, and I have to say I was extremely disappointed with this room category.

I have not been back to Twin Waters for some years and couldn't believe how the maintenance of the facility has been neglected.

finding room and close car park on arrival was not easy, concierge service was non existent , asking room cleaning staff for directions and they were not even sure? Making the arrival experience less stressful would have been a better experience, Booking early for the Funerals Australia convention did not get me a room closer to the convention centre where all the workshops were ( Room 488 )
