We had a 3 bedroom unit, which was tired and in need of upgrading, the Queen size bed was most uncomfortable, noted the 2 twin rooms lacked air conditioning. The ocean views were spectacular as were the views over Bribie Island. The Hotel is close to the beach and good selection of Cafe and restaurants nearby,

Great location but disappointing experience.

The unit was average. Bed was very uncomfortable due to its age. Spa was dirty and there was no cutting board which made snack preparation difficult. Location was very good. The booking experience was not good. Before we arrived we had booked an additional night. We then rang before we left to check on a matter and found out that we weren’t actually booked in for the additional night. We then booked it again and then our keys for the unit would not work after the original booking time had passed. The staff need to keep better booking records. No opportunity for refunds due to change of circumstances is very restrictive.

Unit was clean and tidy. Only fault would be the ensuite. Stepping in and out of spa to take a shower, we found to be quite dangerous.

Upon checkin staff told us that they tried to contact us about our booking to tell us that the pool and BBQ area were under renovation. They didn't even try to contact us. Jo phone call, no email, no notes when booking the stay. Nothing. And they didn't even reduce the price to accommodate not being able to use the facilities that they advertised were in good order. There were cockroaches, and lizards in the room. They were getting into the room from the large gap under the doors leading in and out of the room. Surely they could spray the rooms, Nd fix the gaps under the doors. They only reason I would recommend this place is for the location.
