Stayed 2 nights in a one bed unit to the side of the property. Small view of the water from the deck. Close to all amenities. Several different buildings made the complex rather confusing including the car parking. Pool area was the highlight of the property.

The kettle when pulled from the cupboard had liquid and ants in it. 2 of the mugs were dirty. One of the showers had a smell coming from the drain. I walked around in shoes because the carpet felt disgusting and had stains. I could hear and feel the bed springs.

Not happy with the accommodation as photos were different. Ants all of the kitchen bench, slipped trying to get in and out of the shower in the ensuite as I found this to be an extremely dangerous hazard with the shower in the spa bath. Needs a full make over desperately.

The unit needs work - the oversized lounge was very dirty (We wouldn’t sit on it). The ensuite had a bad smell (drainage smell) and half of the shower head had green slime on it. A dining room chair needed fixing (a broken piece of wood from back of chair was broken). The bathrooms need an upgrade, the paint work on the walls in unit having lots of marks and scrapes on them. Very unhappy and disappointed with this unit and when we checked in they said they had given us an upgrade to a 3 bed room, but really we were given a down grade - what a joke!!!

Location cannot be faulted, but the room was extremely dated and in a surprisingly bad condition. I stayed for a week for work and was surprised by the state of the room. It was as clean as it could be, however, the carpets were coming away from the edges, there were half patched holes on the walls, the pine wood shutter doors were very dirty and the smell of mustiness was immediate. The noises from other rooms and what sounded like renovations above were really loud - there is poor sound protection in this facility. Also, when the upstairs room was used it would make the lights flicker.

Great spot to stay in Caloundra, close by to some delicious food stops and the amazing beach. The room was a great size, plenty of space and convenient having a washer and dryer along with a decent kitchen. Some of the paint finishes and carpet needs updating with paint work looking like it is actually under way. Overall I would say excellent value for money if you’re willing to look past a bit of dated paint and carpet. I would stay here again

Largely un renovated (and unserviced) 80s-90s flat rather than a hotel. Ran out of towels and toilet paper when stayed. View of street only. Better value for money in budget motel.

As advertised, our property offers self-contained apartments rather than a fully serviced hotel experience. Our apartments are non-serviced during shorter stays, with a complimentary mid-stay service provided for stays of 8 nights or more. We understand that additional supplies can sometimes be needed, and our Reception team is always happy to assist with extra towels, toilet paper and other basic supplies during your stay. We also advertise that there is no restaurant onsite, however we are fortunate to be within easy walking distance of a wide variety of cafés and restaurants. Regarding bedding, the reservation was made for one guest, so the apartment was prepared accordingly. Had we been made aware that an additional guest required bedding, this could certainly have been arranged with Reception for a rollaway bed to be placed in your room. We are also sorry that the payment communications you received came across as threatening. These are automated messages relating to booking and payment requirements, and are certainly not intended to cause unnecessary concern or make our guests feel unwelcome. We will take your comments on board when reviewing how these communications are worded. We appreciate your feedback regarding the apartment itself as well. As our apartments are individually owned, their décor and level of refurbishment can vary, and we understand that this particular apartment may not have met your expectations.
