Poorly maintained and in need upgrade

Very well located, close to the beach and shops etc. However, our room was unclean and in need of a major upgrade. Our room had an odd odour as soon as you walked in. Bathroom taps dripping and toilet running non stop for our entire stay. Water was turned off for 5+ hours when originally told 1-2 hours for maintainance. Room was in need of pest control. Cockroaches, bugs and ants crawling in kitchen and in dinning table. Decor and furniture very warn out and dated. Pool was being upgraded which meant it was out of action which included building construction noise and works all day. Overall very disappointing stay

It is disappointing to read that your room did not meet your expectations, and we are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the cleanliness, maintenance, and pest control issues. This is certainly not the standard we strive to provide. We understand how frustrating it must have been to experience the odour, plumbing issues, and pest problems. this has now been addressed with our maintenance department. In relation to the water outage, this was extended at the last minute and there was no other option but to continue the works which caused the longer outage. Truly sorry that this happened. Regarding the pool and construction noise, we apologise for not having communicated the full extent of the renovations more clearly, and we appreciate your understanding during this time. Firstly we were disappointed when we found out the pool was under construct and unable to be used and not advised of this when I called and booked. We only found out two weeks prior to our trip however after looking for other accommodation at that time of year decided to stick with our booking with discounted rates which was appreciated. We had requested the room we had stayed in previously which was not guaranteed and ended up with a different room but we loved it even more! So we have a new fave room now. Hopefully next trip we can get that room again. Staff were extremely helpful especially when we realised our hilux was too high for underground parking. Loved our stay and hopefully we can re book again soon with the pool in use and some sunshine! Thank you for a great place to stay! Mike and Dannielle

Excellent customer / reception service. We were disappointed that we weren't advised until a week before our stay that the pool was out of service. WHilst we were aware that renovations had been underway, we were not aware that they would still be going by the time our booking came around. This did negatively impact our enjoyment at the resort.

Sitting on a balcony with a morning coffee and have to listen noise from 30m construction site. Reception called me before check-in and told me there is a pool renovation. I asked them if it's gonna affect us, and I've been told there is no noise only we don't have a pool acces.
