Immediately upon entry to the unit it was extremely hot. After questioning reception it was advised the air conditioner was old and doesnt work well when hot. And it was hot and made it very uncomfortable. The unit itself was clean with the exception of outdoor furniture which had cobwebs all over it and were not able to be sat on as the material had perished . The beds are comfortable which was appreciated. The rooftop area while nice has no covered area at all so is only usable early or late in summer. The kitchen is poorly equipped and the worst we have experienced. No serving plates, no tongs to use the bbq, nothing plastic to be able to eat on the roof, nothing to clean the bbq with . Even salt and pepper would have been nice. Things like this either make a unit really great or not worth the money. The location is great though and among the best spots in Caloundra. The resort is great, this unit not so much. It seems management/owner has not looked through this unit for some time.

Location is perfect and view from balcony was of lovely ocean views, pool is lovely , That’s where is positive review finishes. Room 21 in the resort tower was well below acceptable for a holiday unit. It was very run down, air conditioning did not work, bedrooms felt like a heater was on because of the hot sun on that side of building, the fan in bedroom 3 did not work, and the pedestal fans were full of dust build up . Mould in ensuite bathroom in shower and ceiling , stains on carpets in bedroom, dirty lounges, dead plants in pot, hot tub looked dirty and no step to get into hot tub, dead lock at front door broken. This unit was such a let down Do not book to stay in this room you will be so disappointed. We have stayed in other units at the resort and have been mostly happy with them, but unit 21 was horrible , definitely ask not to be put in it .

Filthy furniture . Carpet that was worn, stained and absolutely disgusting. Mould all over the ensuite ceiling and shower. No sleep for both nights due to an aircon that didn't cool and windows that didn't open. Dead plants on the balcony. I've never experienced such an atrocious excuse for holiday accommodation. Don't book here

We were staying at the caravan park mid winter, specifically called in to book a room with a shower, as my wife is 85. When we booked in - no shower, wasn't even showing. While "climbing" into bath knocked leg on the side, which resulted in a massive bruise. Didn't complain, as it wasn't my style. But not at all happy. Will go elsewhere next time.
