If I want to go to USS again, I would recommend this hotel. Quite small of a space but still can do, after all it is a budget hotel. Ibis hotel review was justified. The bed and air cond was in good condition. I love the door and the toilet too. Everything pretty satisfying for me.

When we entered the room, we were greeted by a strong smell of cigarettes. It was reported to the front desk (apologies for not getting the person who helped us) and the room was sprayed. She also said that she will put ionizer when we leave the room for dinner. When we got back from dinner, it was worst and even the hallway smells like a smoking area. We got back late and was just too tired to report again just to have the room sprayed again. This went on until wee hours in the morning. When we woke up for breakfast, it improved or maybe we just got used to the smell. Good thing we are only staying for 1 night but we will think twice staying at this hotel again.

The check‑in and check‑out process was fast and friendly, which I really appreciated. The room itself was clean and acceptable, but extremely small. There wasn’t enough floor space to open a suitcase — the only option was to place it on the bed.The bathroom design was also inconvenient. The shower isn’t separated from the rest of the bathroom, so after showering the entire floor becomes wet, and there were no products or tools provided to dry it.Overall, the stay was fine for a short visit, but the room layout and bathroom setup could be improved for better comfort.

Unfortunately I forgot my phone charger and cable in the room. If the charger was found in the room can IBIS send it back to me at my address in Malaysia?
