Nice pool, good to relax and get away from the city The staff were nice, especially Marcus who was really cheerful and made it a memorable birthday celebration Easy access to the beach and it was great that the hotel provided free bicycles for guests so we could cycle round the island Food wasn't good - the carbonara portion was really small and wasn't cooked well. Some of the food was cold. The smoothie was rather overpriced (which isn't much of an issue) but it tasted pretty bad, bland and just icy. We booked a luxury king room as we saw there was a balcony on the app where we booked. But when we checked in and went to the room, we realized there was no balcony. We had to go back to the front desk to request for another room (which they gave eventually) but it was just a misrepresentation of the room on the app.

There was a construction site viewed from the hotel room. I believe that you should have pre-noticed on that to the guests. Also as dinig-in in the restaurants was not allowed so that we ordered the meals to the room. I stayed there with my 2 boys but every time your staff brought 2 sets of utensils without asking how many of us. We asked for one more set every time but it took too long to wait. It was such an unpleasant experience.

Came for a birthday staycation for my son, when I checked if there are any kid toiletries, there was actually none to provide. Also, breakfast came almost 2hours late, it became lunch for us. I had to call in thrice to check on it and each time, no-one actually came back to inform me on the status of the order. Otherwise the room was good and clean.

Given that it's Phase 2 HA, it is understandable that service is compromised due to lack to service staff. However, some lapses were made on wrong breakfast order and requesting for cutlery took 30 mins or more. The quality of the food was so-so, quite unexpected of Sofitel. It doesn't look appetizing probably because it's in-room dining but the taste was really average. I would expect at lease croissant reflective of French standards. As for the room, it's generally good but I would hope to have in-room bluetooth speaker. The bathroom is fine except for a few missing tiles.

Prior to check-in, I spoke to Samantha and she was nice to upgrade me to the presidential room and provide an eggless cake as I was coming to celebrate my wife's birthday. During the check-in, I told Farah that I can manage with a cake with egg as well but the cake was never sent to my room. FInally, at the end of the day the teams told me that the cake has not been ordered. I also requested for a room with balcony but no one bothered to revert to me. It was painful to request anything from F&B as no one picks the phone most of the time on "One-touch" and when they do they say F&B will call who never call. We came and stayed with you during CB which means that there is nothing much to do at the hotel and the you need to be more active on the phone to support the in-room services. It seems like you are short of staff so inspite of spending so much the quality of service was really bad. How bad can it be to commit to provide a birthday cake and then not provide it, I could not have arranged for this at the last minute.

Corridor to room looks old and had a musky smell, food at the cliff and kwee zeen was a huge disappointment. Service of staff were poor, eg nobody attended to us for 10 mins at Kwee zeen and had to pack our own food to takeaway…

First time staying at Sofitel Sentosa, 1 day after new measures for room dine in. Service & offering needs to line up more with the offering a 5 star experience still.

My partner and I booked the couple package which includes 1 night stay and 3 meals. It was a bummer at the start as we could not dine in the restaurant due to the latest restrictions. We called the resort before our check in as we initially booked our lunch with the restaurant at 1pm and the resort did not inform us about the new arrangement given the restriction. The lady manning the customer service line was not helpful at all. She said we could only have our lunch in room at 3pm and she could not help us with an early check in (so that we can have our lunch earlier) and neither can she help us with a late check out the next day, so we have to takeaway our lunch. We explained to her that it did not make ANY sense for us to have our lunch at 3pm and we did not want to takeaway the lunch the next day as there is NO place for us to have our lunch. All she could tell us is that there is nothing she could do and asked us to head over to the resort and the front desk might be able to assist us. It also did not help that her tone was rude. We did not want to take our chances and be stuck on an island with no food till 3pm. We arrived at the resort around 2pm and Ms Sarah from the front desk was friendly and very helpful. She managed to arrange a check in earlier than expected and was also able to give us a late check out so that we can have our lunch the next day. The room was nice and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. We understand it is a challenging time for everyone, especially the hospitality industry, however, I would highly recommend if the customer service can be better trained to handle such situation with professionalism and also assist to provide a solution when we call for assistance.

My partner and I chose Sofitel Sentosa for a staycation in order to get out of the city. In general, it was a relaxing break and we enjoyed the hotel, its grounds and food. However, there were a couple of issues which made the experience less than perfect: 1. We were very disappointed with the booking system for the Sofitel Spa. Although availability can be checked online, the actual booking needs to be made via telephone. Despite calling the spa several times before and during our stay, as well as leaving voice messages, we were only contacted by the spa to make a booking on the second day of our stay and by that time there were no spots left. Found it bewildering why there is not an online booking system for the spa, as there was for the pool and restaurants. 2. Would suggest that more staff is hired for the pool area, especially during the peak weekend afternoon hours. We went to the pool on both weekend days and could only see one or two staff serving the pool area, who were rushing around non-stop trying to serve everyone. Although the staff were clearly doing their best, the under staffing meant that it took a long while for orders to be taken and food and beverages to be delivered.

Booked the room for my 5th anniversary celebration, however the celebration turns out as a ‘shocking surprise’ I saw a lizard crawling out from near a drain in the toilet. Freaked out and Called the front desk, however it took them long to come up and only responded after a second call is made. Very bad service, not worth for the price paid, any other town hotel would have better service and more valued to the stay. Ultimately it is a horrible experience with Sofitel, As it is not acceptable for a 5 star to have lizard, Especially so for people who has phobia towards lizard/insects.

We just lived the ambience and setup of the resort. Peaceful. surrounded by Peacock and Peahen. A delight for the entire family. Lot of games to keep children entertained. Food service can be made better

Worst stay in Sentosa

Everything is slow from checking to waiting for food and culteries at the restaurants. It is obvious that there is understaff issue. Food is Kwee Zeen is lousy - the melting beef is worth eating only. The staff during checkin dies not even know how to explain the usage of the kids voucher and has to get help. I regretted buying the kids vouchers because it can only be used for one lunch and dinner also at certain restaurant so explanation on the website wasn't clear. The swimming pool is absolutely not kids friendly, not for kinds before 5 years so not so suitable for my 2 kids. They enjoy the pool very much at W Sentosa. The room 255 is too far away from the lobby and restaurants so it is a torture to carry the kids anywhere else. Room 255 has a lousy view facing the fence with some renovation so not worth the money, room is old and small as compared to W hotel. The Sir from the gym standing in at the Kids Function room is the most friendly and smiling among all the staff during the stay. The rest of the staff are panicking with the busy work and demand. The request for towels and mineral waters to the room is superb fast though. The butlers at the entrance of the hotel are welcoming and helpful as well.

We really enjoyed our stay, our dinner at kwee zeen wasn’t good on our first day. But the Sunday morning breakfast was awesome and not to mention the brunch was amazing. We will never forget the fantastic customer service received from one of the staff at Kwee zeen restaurant by name Mr Shame. He was exceptional. We hope to come back soon, because we also love the food at the Cliff.

We enjoyed the stay and the breakfast. The check in queue took a long time and we needed to ask for our card while waiting. Interior of room was a little outdated. Breakfast was fantastic and we enjoyed the surrounding area as well as seeing the Peecocks.

Come here for the Food, People, Facilities and Location. Food is excellent, no doubt. Staff are nice. I am very thankful they have allowed rebooking without penalty due personal circumstances. The 2 hour swimming pool use allocation is very generous. Easy access to Tanjung beach for a morning walk. The room is a bit dated. The "room with a garden view" is a frustration. The "garden" fronting our room's window looks disheveled. For internarional travellers, the "garden" here is not representative of a Singaporean garden.

The room (176) I was allocated looks run down and seems it has not been occupied for quite sometime. Cabinets door were dusty, Airborne dust can be seen against the room lights, bathroom floor was dirty with stains and the bed side lamp was flickering when turn on. It is not a very pleasant experience for my family and myself, and we don't think we will come back again.

It's short getaway during Easter break. Great services by the hotel from check in until check out. This is our second time staying in this hotel and we still would love to come again. The shuttle bus is punctual. The access to the beach is good. Happy that they move the kids club to the main building.

It was our 3rd 3D2N staycay at Sofitel Sentosa, this time with my 3rd son, his wife & baby. Understand hotel was full house. Yet staff were quick to respond to pur requests. Kudos to staff. American breakfast were acceptable. Indian dinner at Kwee Zeen not so good.
