We stayed 3 nights in luxury king room. We asked for high floor & was given a room on the 3rd level and it was great cause the lower floors will be too dark to our liking. The luxury king room is spacious, quiet & we didn’t hear much noise from outside unlike other hotels. The hotel staff are friendly and attentive & helpful to ensure we are comfortable and at ease. I almost lost our item left behind the room when we checked out but they were able to find it for us so quickly! Thank you Mag! The shuttle bus services to and fro harbour front is excellent! they even stop by RWS. There are some free open air parking lots near to hotel but they are also opened to public to park, hence do take note if you are driving to the hotel as guests are not given priority and cannot reserve them in advance. The one thing I hope the hotel will look into is the mattress. The one we slept on was bad that I couldn’t sleep properly throughout the stay. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay.

I have to admit, I was a bit surprised overall having stayed before. The young girl who checked me in was lovely and very professional. The room was comfortable. The pool bar and the Cliff service staff were very good. The hotel though, felt shabby. The pool looked messy (including some of the furniture, the frass looked unkept, it looked unloved as a 5* hotel), there were cracks in the wall, it felt untidy, the dressing gowns in the room were ripped. the route down to the beach was closed which was a huge pain to get the bus. The bus is only one way which means you have to wait a long time to get back. There is no gym (has to head to raffles), and there is no shuttle to the gym (back to the bus and the wait!). We also had an issue trying to retrospectively use a voucher which we forgot when dining, having had a lovely meal, then had the sobering experience of knowing we have paid $400 for two for dinner, and couldn’t claim our voucher. All in all, I wouldn’t rush back, not at that price bracket. It was very disappointing.

2 negative experience were encountered. Firstly, I had requested for room decoration for my wife as it was our wedding anniversary. Julita from the reservation team replied to my that it will be done when we checked in(room 528). Unfortunately, nothing was done and we were totally disappointed. Secondly, my other room(530) TV was not working in good condition as the display was distorted. As a 5 star hotel, the rooms have to be checked properly so that the next guests who will check in will be happy. I understand that I was given dining voucher but that doesn't cover the disappointment and expectations that me and my wife had for our wedding anniversary!
