One of the best stay we had. Impressed with the whole service from arrival to departure. The landscape is beautiful and we had our 1st experience of fish foot spa.It is definitely a good place to just relax and enjoy the sound of birds and rustling of leaves from coconut trees by the pool. The toiletries are of good quality. I almost requested for more as I love the range provided. Great service from very professional staff.

It started as an utter disappointment when the spa team lost my booking, followed by no table availability at the Cliff on the day of our arrival. However, the staff we met were all very nice and the room was nicely prepared and decorated though it was an anniversary celebration instead of birthday. Room service food was tad disappointing. We ordered soup which other hotels normally will be accompanied with bread, butter, salt and pepper. Spa was amazing, masseurs look overworked and still upkeeping their good work. Perhaps better transportation arrangements will end the session to its perfection. We were told the next ride comes in 20mins. With the stay filled with disappointments here and there, largely because it's a Sofitel a luxury brand, it ended with our table reservation missing along with our food selection. We were put in a make-shift dining area, understandably due to the social distancing measurement, with lounge table and chairs for a 3 course italian dinner was unacceptable. One staff tried looking, and came back to say "there's really no other tables." Mani passed by, and I told him, "we aint gonna be dining happily like this, we are leaving, pls cancel our orders." He was quick to think on his feet and gave us a few options. We ended having a nice dinner in the main dining area. Please extend my appreciation to Mani for saving the stay.

Had a infinite experience family package with full board. - nice resort and room environment A) only minus was one aircon in room not working, perhaps due to it as a old property - meals were fabulous - nonetheless, level of service could be improved further as a 5 star service A) baby cot and bathtub was not provided even though we have requested for it before going B) restaurant staff could do better with more experience, one instance is they seem understaffed even though there are quite a number of them. Servers seem to need directions from manager before serving. C) exchange between staff and guest could be better to alleviate to '6' star, exchanges and replies seems curt, without a 'friendlier and personal response, such as 'how are you doing today? Etc' which separates some other 5 star hotels/resorts with sofitel

2 nights Enjoyed it very much but not as good quality as it once was. Food and service is no longer 5 star e.g. no table service for tea/coffee at breakfast, less food stations, limited poolside menu. Part of our stay we had 2 massages included - i had none (due to no space) and my wife had one which she left 10mins into due to the quality of service.

My husband and I stayed at Sofitel for a 3 days 2 nights. We had a good relaxing spa appointment for 2 days. We enjoyed the Swimming pool facility at the spa. Also we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast. Our stay was very pleasant. However, I would like to suggest to have recycling bins inside the room.

There were no people so that very quiet in hotel. It located well, so enjoyed nature. It was good to access to Tanjong beach right in front.

We was given room was defect. Right bed reading light was removed. The coffee cabinet top cannot be fully closed. In the morning, when open the curtain will blind our eyes as sunlight shine directly to the bed. In the morning, we were wake up by staff knocking on the railing. The turn down service on the second night, there is no changed for used towel which we put in bath tub. Curtain was not closed and bed was not tidy up. The offer for complimentary cold beer and refreshment during the fire emergency drill was not fulfilled. Cold beer and refreshment was not available although did offer welcome drink menu.

the good: fast checkin, warm greetings, clean facilities, staff at restaurant are good, kind, responsive. no baby cot avail but got offer one extra bed. the bad: slow housekeeping( asking for water bottles to boil water for infant formula mixing, never got until needing to make ftf complaint at reception at 6 pm!!!) explained to staff receiving the calls that needing the water for baby, got response to use tap water for baby. how RUDE!! asking for extra shampoo as there only one bottle for 2 adults and 2 kids (2yo) NEVER RECEIVED. so i think this hotel is really non-kid friendly. overall, disappointed.

In general, the hotel is comfortable, rooms are quite big. Overall experience was positive, Here is my feedback 1. some parts of the room is dusty (curtains, and the the corners), sofa/cushion has stains, basically the room felt unoccupied for a long time, and it wasnt properly cleaned when we checked-in. 2. The room service food was decent, but could be better for such a hotel standard. Was told to wait 1 hour, for 1 pasta when I called at 630pm (is that even peak hour?) 3. electric wall sockets are falling out of its place (may pose danger) 4. Check-out experience was not clear, was told I can do a fast check-out abruptly when I was queing to check-out with no instruction given. OR atleast been told during my check-in. Nothing like that. 5. Was at the pool, doesnt seem like everyone is practicing social distancing, may be something worth to look at. The chairs, table positioning. 6. Prior to check-ing in, drove the car to the lobby and not greeted by hotel bell-boy, i had to unload my own luggage, with them just giving me a trolly (and they walked off). Expected a better service here honestly from Sofitel.

A staycation to benefit of the sun, the environment, the nature and animals as we like it to be. We were not disappointed and everything went well. Good team and support, pleasant environment and a plus on the pool management. In most of the places now, the long chair by the pool are "booked" by people who are not around, simply securing their seat for hours later. At Sofitel, the team is careful about such behaviour and manages very well the availabilities. Thank you, very good stay.

Tip top service from arrival till departure. Love the space and ambience. Amenities in room is very clean and complete including free bottle of wine. Food at the Cliff and for breakfast was delicious with quality ingredients. Service staff at the Cliff was helpful with service from the heart and without being over intrusive. Enjoyed my massage very much as masseuse is very skilful. Having a male masseuse for my hubby is a bonus; this being his first time. The external spa facilities like the pools and female jacuzzi certainly need upgrading which is scheduled by the hotel soon. Overall, it's a great escapade for us :)

Just had the trouble to shift to different rooms during the first day, as the first room we were staying was looking at construction site which was not very present. Then we shift to another room but that has a very mild stale smell in the room.

We absolutely loved the hotel theme in a very relaxing environment with lots of nature & great facilities. We enjoyed using the pool, dinner & breakfast were absolutely delightful. The massage was great for my partner and alright for me, but the 1 thing I was disappointed with was the dated spa facilities.

I was a bit disappointed in the beginning when I wanted to book a Spa slot and the staff told me that it was fully booked for the weekend. I said that I booked within a package and they should make sure how many of them they can sell, otherwise the guests cannot what are they paying for. After 2 emails, I got my slot for my husband and I. It was the best massage that ever had in this SPA and we had a lot around the world. The food was good and staff really helpful. The only suggestion that I can make, is offering a family package will be cool for enjoying with our daughters next time.

Booked this stacation for our honeymoon due to the covid travel ban. Pleasant stay, good vibes for a relaxing staycation but disappointed that there were no special arrangements / surprise for our honeymoon. Would be great if there was something small ( eg choc ect) to celebrate our special occasion.
