We were met with genuine smiles everywhere within the resort. My family and I felt at home, and it was very enjoyable. The complimentary fish spa was really fun and hilarious. Great memories!

We stayed at Sofitel Sentosa in the Luxury Family Room. While the environment is pleasant, our experience did not fully meet expectations for a 5-star hotel. The pool edges were surprisingly sharp and unsafe — I cut myself as an adult, which raises serious concerns about safety, especially for families. In our room, one air-conditioner worked perfectly, but the other was not functioning properly, causing our child to sleep uncomfortably and sweat through the night. For a hotel positioned at this level, some upgrades are clearly needed. The lack of basic amenities such as a USB-C (Type-C) charging option was disappointing and out of touch with current guest needs. That said, I would like to commend the breakfast manager on duty (a gentleman whose name I unfortunately did not catch). He kindly offered to help charge our phone using his own personal power bank — a genuine lifesaver and a moment of true hospitality. Overall, the service attitude from staff can be excellent, but the facilities and room maintenance need improvement to truly match a 5-star standard.

The reception seems very understaffed. During Check-in, only 1 desk was open, and there was only 1 customer before us. There was also a desk at the right corner of the room with two staff members seemed very deep in conversation, and didn't bother attending to us. So my pregnant wife and I waited for a good 20-30mins until the previous customer was done with her check-in. The room was large, but has a rather weird layout . Basically it seems uncharacteristic because it lacks that island resort feeling. Compared to other sentosa hotels, it felt more like a city room with too much concrete wall, and very little natural lighting. It made us want to leave the room and come back only to sleep. Even certain parts of the corridor felt dark and dinghy The service staff at KweeZeen, Cliff and LeBar are very warm and friendly. We enjoyed having casual chats with them during our breakfast & dinner. It felt very interpersonal and welcoming, probably the highlights of our trip. During check-out, there was nobody at the reception. Learning from our lesson during check-in, we didn't want to waste our time waiting, so we dropped our keys at the fast-check out box and informed the concierge. I would recommend my friends & family to dine here, but definitely not to stay here.

Stay got to a pleasant start when Amira at my check-in about 3.30pm said that she remembered seeing me around last year, which was true i did a staycation early last year. Jessy at Lebar took such great care of us when we had drinks there and also did an afternoon tea. It was my family’s 2nd time doing a staycation at the Villa du Jardin. Our first time had undesired experiences including power blackouts and unresponsive housekeeping. This 2nd time, we were hit again by a power blackout midway through our stay. Not just that, some parts of the villa are in want of repairs / redecor like the flooring, some parts were uneven as tripping hazards while other parts subjected to severe condensation became slip hazards. We still enjoyed our stay thanks to the helpful housekeeping staff, though wonder why we are so unlucky with power blackouts at Sofitel.

We stayed at Sofitel Sentosa for 3 nights. It was a very cosy resort. Room was clean and spacious. We love the scent in the room. Overall it was a very relaxing stay. The only improvement is the quality of breakfast buffet.
