Equipment and hardware: cannot be even worse - why would you put guests on the side being renovated This intoxicates people. Yet, good service of your staff for remedies at least

Our stay was part of our anniversary celebration. The hotel itself was extremely comfortable and the pool and bars were a pleasure to relax in. The most outstanding part of our stay was the staff who remembered our names and the occasion we were celebrating across the days we stayed there. I highly recommend the hotel and will certainly have it on the top of the list next time we stay in Singapore.

Emailed in advance for a birthday set up for my mom’s 60th birthday but I was disappointed with the set up.They only put balloons on both sides of the bed. Even Mandai and Raffles hotel managed to give a personal welcome note with a cake. But props to Hasnim for the excellent service he provided during our breakfast at Kwee Zeen

Plugs had issue, tiles popping out in the bathroom. Someone came and fix and but it still pop out. Breakfast selection was too little unfortunately.

The room is comfortable. Other than that, there's nothing wow about the experience after staying 2 nights. Staff just seems to be doing their baseline work. The reason for this score was mainly due to the handling of the charger and cables I left behind in the room. I called about 4-5 hours after check out and was told that nothing was found. They would call me back if they found anything. No calls were made. I decided to email and after some checks, my items were found. I asked if the hotel can mail the items back to me. It would have cost less than $5 to get smartpac from Singpost. However the hotel wants to charge me $50 to deliver the items to me. How could returning the items to me within a small island city cost so much? It's such a disappointment that a high end hotel brand like Sofitel just does things by the book, and not taking every interaction with the customer as an opportunity to delight and create a lasting impression.
