My 3rd pawcation with sofitel. Since the 2nd and 3rd I am always assigned to room with heavy renovation nearby. Wondering if its because I stayed with my pet and I am given such room? If quite disappointing and I am paying a premium to have a pet stay. I am told my room was upgraded but to me it's assigning me to a room with exposure to higher noise. The hammering was so loud at 8am of my check out day and its causes so much stress in the morning for us.

all the staff were amazingly attentive and the hotel facilities were fantastic. The only let down was the renovations in the peace wing on the floor directly above our room. There were a couple of mornings where we just wanted to relax in our room but all we could here was the sound of the renovations taking place above us. While I understand that renovations are a necessary process, you could perhaps not have people stay in the level below. Otherwise, it was a perfect place to stay for our family.

Hotel was at full capacity and very busy, but check in was smooth and efficient. The room we booked was very nice, hotel is showing signs of its age but otherwise very pleasant. The hotel doesn’t have a gym but guests have access to the neighbouring Raffles gym, which was well equipped. Pool is large but unfortunately some of the furniture around the pool was damaged and showing signs of age. For the price paid, it would be expected that a 5-star resort would maintain common amenities. One thing I would like to see updated in the rooms would be installing power points or USB ports closer to the bed so that our phones could be charged in arms reach from where we slept. The breakfast was fabulous and staff very professional and willing to help. There is a free shuttle that takes you to the nearby mall, which was handy for shopping and eating experiences. It runs every 15 minutes throughout the day, which was very convenient.

Lovely hotel, good location and great outdoor facilities. Concierge team and the main bar staff were fantastic. Unfortunately, staff at reception were unhelpful at best/bordering on rude and had no interest in helping guests or delivering a good customer experience. Very different to other staff. In addition, not having a gym on site is not acceptable and when asking how I could walk to the gym at Raffles, I did not appreciate being told that I shouldn't and that I HAD to use the bus - I do not want to arrange a work out around a bus timetable, nor do I want to get on it and sit next to other guests when hot and sweaty having finished the session. I walked (which would be easy and quick if it were signposted but it isn't in either the Sofitel or Raffles). In contrast the gym staff in Raffles were amazing and offered to order me a buggy back in each occasion. As the title says, there were great elements but also things that let the hotel/experience down and I wouldnt regard this as a 5 star hotel - having top status with Hilton and Elite with Marriot, I have enough experience to know that is fair.

Booked sofitel sentosa based on sofitel Bali experience (regret later) - firstly may be I’ve expected a basic meet and greet during check-in, rather created mute impression - may be I’ve expected too much as a basic necessity of below 1. concierge to carry/check if any luggage to room everyday, since I had to carry my infant (which never happened) 2. day 1 concierge guy explaining about the room options and drinking water options, which was quite surprising 3. Except restaurant team, all other teams give a blank non welcoming expression/vibe 4. Writing a mail to hotel manager about experience as feedback resulting in providing a complimentary during voucher(politely rejected), 5. Seems every team is a fresher in the property, except for the Sunday, the stay moving from cebu to Singapore turned holiday experience bitter. 6. Any calls to the room service number works only after multiple try’s/ if connected team will just inform the concerned team will call back and forget(in my case) May be myself/any guest will expect the basic info/convenience/good vibe/comfortable stay/good service from any reputed chain of hotels Next stay any where around the world, would think twice and choose option 2 between sofitel/other hotel

PositivesGreat Service: -The Food & Beverage (F&B) and Housekeeping (HSK) teams delivered excellent service. -Room Comfort: Apart from specific maintenance issues, the room was comfortable. Areas for Improvement: -Front Office (FO) Team: Staff require training to enhance their service delivery, product knowledge, and communication skills. -Value for Money: Poolside cocktails had a weak alcohol content relative to their high price point. -Safety & Maintenance: Loose and worn-out bathroom tiles pose a safety hazard. -Hygiene: A worm was found near the toilet bowl immediately upon check-in. -In-Room Amenities: Minibar price list missing; room telephone volume remains too low.

We chose to stay first time on this hotel for my daughter's 5th birthday since there's nearby beach. We were pleasantly surprised with the room upgrade from Luxury to Signature Room with king sized bed. The room was clean and comfortable with couch to relax on and balcony. We had breakfast included and there were lots of choices (indian, local and western food). We also enjoyed the pool with warm water and not too crowded, maybe because it was Monday. Their hotel staffs are also nice and accommodating. We hope to be back there soon with the same experience. My daughter loved her birthday stay here.

Had a staycation during Singapore National Day with my little one which was her first staycation experience. I did write to the hotel to ask if they could provide something special to celebrate this occasion and we were truly surprised by the complimentary junior suite upgrade, complete with sweet treat for my daughter! Really thankful for the generosity and we definitely enjoyed our stay, completed by the hospitality of the staffs.

Pool and restaurant and restaurant staff very good. Front desk staff poor service. Initial room had shared door with adjacent room that was so thin we could hear all their conversations. Changed to more private room but thermostat for aircon didn’t work. Staff at front desk not attentive. Expected better front desk initial service given the room rates.
