Nice getaway experience.. loved the fish spa it was my first time ever to try it. Shuttle bus service was excellent except that when we were dropped to RWS there was no service to bring us back to hotel, it took us one hour to figure things out and get back to hotel via public bus. I suggest that the hotel offer this service in future or at least have the driver or conceirge to explain how to get back to hotel.

Overall, this is a superb property in a wonderful location with excellent facilities. For the most part, the staff are excellent. However, as is often the case, the little things let you down. Le Bar is a wonderful place and could be a real drawcard but this is the point of my greatest disappointment. A simple request for a glass of tap water, while buying another drink, was met with an apologetic refusal. We were informed that bottled water was available for purchase but that tap water was not. Three beers from the drinks list were unavailable. The blender was unserviceable meaning that only one mocktail from an extensive list was available. I acknowledge that these are small complaints but such things leave a sour taste in the mouth and tarnish an otherwise wonderful holiday. With renewed attention to detail, Sofitel Sentosa could be an exceptional place.

1. Was informed that the hotel was running full and no upgrade was available even if i paid, while i could still find suites available on app. 2. Not offered welcome drink, gold benefits. (Whats the point of maintaining status then?) 3. Was then told no kind bed available even thi that was what i booked and prepaid for. 4. After finally giving me the room type i paid for, was told to wait for key, even tho it was way past check in time. 5. Room A/C control was faulty. No drinking water, no shaver as a standard amenity. 6. Was offered no apologies nor goodwill despite all the above. Well done Sofitel.

Beautiful surroundings and great atmosphere. The best: great and attentive staff at the business/conference center. The room had a lot of good amenities. But staff at det bar/cafe was not impressive. They made many mistakes, forgot orders and did not see it when we tried to get in touch to order. Also the overall impression of the facilities is that it is a bit worn down. The restaurant is good. But in order to become great there are several minor things that needs to be better. I.e. two slow coffe-makers for a restaurant of 200 people for breakfast is not enough. Also there where not enough clean glasses, not salad cutlery for all dishes etc.

Room cupboard door knob was loose and came off when pulling of the door knob. Appears to lack maintenance. Room slippers were missing and not available inside the room.

We only had 2 nights. We really enjoyed the relaxed feel and there was plenty of space . Breakfast was good and the pool refreshing and deep. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Some updating and refreshing would be nice but we loved it.

We stay for Happy new year holiday but this hotel location is not so and far from city and also poor service of staff . Their room is very small and congested. Hotel area is big but its dark at evening time .Their restaurant food is not so testy . Overall we not so like this stay .

Great staycation in this mysterious resort in Sentosa

I was entitled a one free night stay in this resort hotel from my company dinner and dance lucky draw. So I invite my family member to join me in this staycation as part of his birthday treat. This place is truly heavenly. I'm impressed with the fact that there is this complimentary fish spa provided by the resort. It was great to try this for first time. The pool was not crowded like any other typical hotel swimming pool so it was very enjoyable to relax and read a book by the pool. This hotel is also home to a herd of peacocks and we were delighted to see one of the beautiful male peacocks flashing his feather tails when we were at the hotel gym. Hotel gym facilities is pretty cool with gym towels provided and the bar and gym studio is on the second level. Lastly, as I was entitled to stay in a prestige suite, the room was amazing. Comes with an interesting mini bar.. only con I would say is that though it provides shuttle service from vivo, there are no shuttle bus service if u are coming from USS.

We really enjoyed ourselves, the room was lovely and the staffs ere extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that the drinks were very expensive and we would only use the bars during happy hours. Fabulous location and the pool area is amazing. Breakfast buffet was incredible but cannot comment on other meals as they were too expensive for us.

Perfect Getaway in Busy Singapore

Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort and Spa was the last Sofitel property that I had not experienced in Singapore. Hence, when my wife suggested that we do a short staycation there, I jumped at the opportunity. Located on a remote part of Sentosa, this Sofitel hotel is a perfect getaway in Singapore as you do not feel like you are in Singapore. The hotel was designed like a resort so you have lush greenery and water features surrounding the property. Stepping into the resort, you will feel tranquil and relaxed. The resort is very beautiful and the design and furniture have the touch of a So Sofitel property. Very nicely balanced. I was very lucky as the Front Office Manager, Ms Sutha Katreddi, gave me an upgrade to a suite. The room is very spacious and very nicely designed. There were ample use of mirrors to make the room brighter and more spacious. The bed is very comfortable with the right amount of firmness to support my back. I love the rocking chair in the living room. Perfect for watching TV. As you walk along the corridors to the lobby, there are many fountains and pools. Some of these pools have cushion along the side that you could sit down and dip your feet to relax. The swimming pool is relatively big and good for swimming laps. Unfortunately this time I do not have the time to swim there but when I am back in April, I will definitely use it. There are a number of restaurants in the hotel but I have only tried the main restaurant for my breakfast. The breakfast spread has a good variety and the food is very delicious. There are fresh fruit juice, gourmet coffee and tea for you to choose from. There are separate Chinese and Indian food sections, as well as the International cuisine in the main dinning hall. If you want to taste all the food, you need to go there at least 2 to 3 times. At this point, I would like to give special mention to Sarah, the Front Desk Executive, for her excellent service and attention to detail. The rest of the staffs are just as great and made my stay in the hotel perfect. I have already reserved my stay in the hotel in April and I look forward to enjoying myself there. See you soon.

Lovely surroundings

We had a very nice time at Sofitel. What we missed was more environmental consideration, for example less use of plastics, shower bottles and so on. We would also have liked for example some kind of training, yoga or water excerise every day not just once a week.

Overall, this was a well-kept property with a nice guestroom for a one-night stay. Direct beach access was excellent. Helpful shuttle to Resorts World. However, we found ourselves surprisingly disappointed by the service throughout: - We checked about 45 minutes before 3p and were surprised to hear our room was not yet ready. Of course, we were early, and this was okay — we were told we'd receive a call when our room was ready. We sat in the lounge and 3:30p came around without a call — returning to the lobby, we learned that our room had already been ready and our bags were transferred. - We went to LeBar around 9:30p for drinks and small bites on a Saturday night, only to be told that we had missed the last call for food by 3 minutes. Nothing on the website states this (https://www.sofitel-singapore-sentosa.com/dining/lebar/), and our requests to order something were denied at first. Once an "exception" was made, we were gruffly told to order immediately. This is not the experience I'd expect for a hotel of this standard. - Spa and gym are a bit off the property, which is fine, but we were disappointed to learn that access to the spa facilities (not treatments) had an extra cost. Once again, this is disappointing for a hotel of this price and standard.

The hotel facilities and location is great. I had done an internet check in. (it says that I can avoid queue if i do internet check-in) However, it still turns out i have to queue anyway. I arrived at 12pm, was told that I will be called on my phone when the room will be ready before 3pm. I waited til 4pm, and there was no phone call. I have to come back and queue again to get served.
