Hi all at Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa, I am writing this wonderful e-mail to compliment your staff named below for their wonderful customer service who made my stay with you guys on the 11th of May 2021. Front Counter Service : Ms Nasrin : Ms Nasrin was the first person who welcomed me and my mother to the hotel. She was very efficient & polite to us as well as knowledgeable. Ms Nasrin went beyond her duties to inform us about which consumables are Muslim friendly options. Ms Wai Wai : Ms Wai Wai helped us to facilitate the parking lot as I went out for dinner. Although it was not her job to help us with the barricade (car park), she actually went to the car park to lend her aid. Concierge : Mr Rahman: Mr Rahman truly made us feel comfortable & rendered wonderful service. He aided us on where to park our car & guided us the fastest way to our rooms despite the sweltering heat! Mr Rahman also inform me about which consumables are more Muslim friendly especially for breakfast in the next morning. He always displayed a positive disposition which I believe all concierges should follow! Excellent role model. Mr Rahman also recommended Ms Aini about her recommendations on which consumables are Muslim friendly for our breakfast on our next day. Cuisine / Restaurant : Ms Kour : At the front counter at the restaurant, Ms Kour personally looked for Ms Aini when we asked if she was around. Ms Kour greeted us with wonderful vibes which made a lasting first impression of the place! Ms Aini : As recommended by Mr Rahman, Ms Aini went through great length to highlight her recommendations on the Muslim Friendly options for us to have our breakfast. Ms Aini is indeed very knowledgeable & displayed leadership qualities. She truly made our breakfast wonderful! Bread / Pastry Staff on duty 0830am : Although I did not get his name, he is a Chinese man ( I highly assume) who was stationed here. As I was stumped for choices on which options are halal friendly! These staffs are definitely an asset to your Hotel, thank you so much for making our stay at Sofitel a wonderful one! Warmest Regards, Mr Harry Widjaya

A great stay. Some inexperienced staff BUT all were faultlessly friendly and courteous and helpful. Good food ( especially The Cliff). Beautiful location, facilities and ambience. Very relaxing and chilled vibe. His is my second stay. First was 2014.

enjoyed the fish spa pond, food at the cliff was good and breakfast at Kwee Zhen was good too maybe could open up the stairs that lead down to the beach earlier - as wanted to go down to catch sunrise at tg beach but realise the stairs will only open at 7.00am, seems there is no lighting at the stairs - so maybe can install some lights ?

Ok. The room is nice, n can see 1 peakcock outside our balcony. But the outside view not nice because of renovation, so we never open the balcony window. Besides swimming pool, there has a small fish pond to let guests to put inside their legs n the small black fish will bit the leg's skin. The front counter customer service needs to be improved, if she can explain the hotel has free shuttle bus to tanjong beach, resort world, n etc is better, before that we were walking to n back from the tanjong beach, it was super tired.

Not all Staff at the bar and the cliff doesn’t seem to know how to provide good service. Staff at the bar didn’t want us to sit in a well lighted area of the bar cos of possibility of a big group coming but the whole night only one group came. They also don’t anticipate the needs of the guests. Only the staff at the breakfast buffet are efficient and quick to think on their feet. Staffs are making the brand less luxurious as communication with them were difficult. Receptionists were helpful.

I checked in on 03/05/22. I was excited cause this was my first staycation on my own. I was looking forward to my me time. But, of course, I was BLOWN away by how tranquil the resort is. It was beautiful. I love how the lobby feels welcoming. WaiWai checked me in, she's warm and friendly, and I felt at ease. The room was spacious and luxurious. I loved the mini foyer, the bed to the bathroom. WaiWai also showed me the pool where the Dr Fishes are kept. I was impressed, but then I noticed that there wasn't any feet washing area nearby for the guests to wash their feet before they put their feet into the pool or any signs to let the guest know that if they have wounds on their feet, they cannot use the pool. I even saw a guest who had sores on his feet in the pool at one time. I pray that I overlooked that situation. It would be best to put up a sign to remind your guests about proper foot hygiene for their safety and also the safety of others. Breakfast felt like a spread; the food was no short of fantastic. But, apart from the food, the service could be improved. I have a habit of observing what is going on around me, even more so when I am alone. My table was neatly set up, but something was missing, a spoon. The table beside me was a man and He was asking for a spoon. The service was quick, But isn't it better if a spoon was placed there, so a more seamless experience could be created? I also noticed a mother trying to get a staff's attention, but this staff looked like he was in a daze. He did not seem to see the mother waving her hand. That was a mistake that shouldn't happen, not when the staff is on the floor. I understand Service in the morning feels like a hurricane, but how staff carry themselves during service is just as important. The team looked like they had no coordination; it was a mess. The stay was overall calming and rejuvenating. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay until checking out. I was reluctant to leave, but I also noticed the handle to my pulley luggage was broken and missing. The staff that brought my luggage to my room did not tell me anything about the broken handle. I notified the front desk staff, and Ariffin was sent to assess the situation. He was calm and accommodating. He said he would look for a person to fix the handle in the comfort of my home because I was already checking out. He said to give him some time to find a supplier or a vendor who can help fix the handle for me. Unfortunately, Ariffin couldn't find a vendor that sells the handle, nor could he find someone to fix it. I'm not mad that the hotel for not being able to fix my luggage; instead, I was disappointed with the staff who broke it. If he had notified the managers and me when he broke it, this incident would no doubt have been quickly resolved; the bag might even have been fixed because they would have had more time to measure the dimensions of the handle to find a proper fit because a picture can only tell so much. I will most definitely return for another stay because I thoroughly enjoyed my stay with you. Still, I would appreciate it if my luggage was better-taken care of in the future.

The overall stay was alright. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by the concierge which was lovely. Queued for the check in which was not a long but had to wait an hr for the room to be ready. Was told by the FO that the room will be ready within 20mins. Maybe they shouldnt have committed a time but rather say that they are unable to guarantee a timing but give an eta. Entered the room which was spacious and lovely. Ambience was nice and chill. Went to the FO to tell them we were celebrating my bday if theres anything that can be set up as i had gst coming and was told that smth would be arranged the next morning however, we did not receive any but was given a late checkout due to the wait for the room. Overall the place was magnificent, the vibes was good.

Overall we had a very good stay in very pleasant surroundings. I really only have good things to say about the hotel, the ambience, the food etc. However there were a glitch or two in relation to the reservation (dining credits being included for two rooms without me being aware, and a restaurant reservation at the Cliff that was somehow lost). Both issues were corrected without too much hassle but I hope it can be a smoother experience in the future.

I decided to book a staycation to celebrate my son's 100 days from birth. The reason we chose sofitel is because we were married there. The staycation was quite abit of disappointment. We did the pre-checkin and were made to wait even though we have the qr code. The room was ready as early as 1pm but we were not informed as the staff explained that thet were busy. We have an infant with us and imagine that we need to loiter around in such hot and humid weather. The assigned family room has the worst view, there is a bird nesting on the roof where the chicks chirped no- stop throughout the day. The bathroom basin tap leaks, and flows to the floor making it very slippery. Pool isn't that clean. During our stay we witness staff adding a sack of chlorine poweder into the pool. Shouldn't this be done before operational hours? Overall quite a disappointing experience.

Staff need to be trained better ! The hotel needs a revamp re hoes in curtains stitched up mouldy smelling passage ways and rooms dirty lifts glass sliding doors mirrors pathways pool tiles and pool seating musty pool towels and bathroom toiletries/soap smells terrible and a deep clean and the upkeep on daily basis better attention the place felt grubby not up to the Sofitel standard that once was very disappointing

From start to end, was a pleasant experience. Staff were courteous and reception was kind to upgrade my twin room to King Bed, and the senior welcome host kindly gave me two different-coloured pens (one with the plastic) upon my departure when I had requested for a new pen (the receptionist gave me one without the rubber top). Dinner at The Cliff was without reservations but had a table with a view anyhow. It was a cosy and really pleasant experience with lovely music. Menu could have more meat/ veg options. More affordable options around the resort would be good too.

The overall stay was pleasant and enjoyable. The hotel compound makes us feel that we are away from the city and feels like we are overseas and feels very tranquil and nice. However, the room is too small and the entire layout of the room feels like a waste as there are many empty spaces which can be better utilised and decorated. It will be great if we can have some views while soaking in the bathtub and there is no balcony in the room for us to enjoy the garden or sea view. And we are pretty much disturbed by the ongoing construction noise.

For a 5 star hotel, contour pillows or memory foam pillows should be available upon request as this really affects the sleep. The foam pillows given need to be replaced as they have a smell. the support was not good and resulted in a neck ache in the morning. In addition, i waited more than 10 minutes for my cake at the reception which was the redemption of my birthday cake. Poor communication and follow up.
