It was my first stay on Sentosa and I had wonderfully relaxing days at the Sofitel. My spacious room was in the Tranquility Wing and I was woken up every morning by the wonderful whistling of the birds. The extensive breakfast buffet is varied and delicious and Peter greeted you warmly every day. The large pool is inviting, the fish spa refreshing and the entire surroundings and nature are a dream. Simply fantastic!

Kudos to the team that made me feel welcome!

Pros: I was there to celebrate my daughter’s birthday as well as to attend a friend’s wedding. We were welcome by the concierge team and we were very impressed by their service. They were helpful, friendly and attentive. They even gifted my daughter a signature peacock plushie after knowing it’s her birthday. This has made her day! Cons: Didn’t not manage to use much of the facilities due to the rain. However, the visit to the gym was a bit of a let-down. The side of the gym roof was dripping water when it rains. For a 5 star hotel, the room and some facilities/appearance of the facade could be more well furnished, as it looks a little old.

The kids love the fish spa, laze around the swimming pool and a big shout to Alson. The hotel serve one of the best of Asian and Italian food that we loved. We got upgrade to suit as Accor member and the kids love to laze around and thanks to housekeeping team for making the room clean and a big thanks to Ella.

It’s my 4th stay with the hotel and it will always hold special memories for me having held my wedding here - and I know it’s potential cos our previous stays in 2021 and 2022 were nothing short of delightful. This time for our Nov stay, I redeemed a stayplus and another night of suite upgrade with my Accorplus platinum status to celebrate my birthday together with my toddler. Disappointed to see that there was no welcome amenities - save for a platter of uncut fruits (that appeared to look more like decor than for consumption) and the welcome drink as an AccorPlus platinum member. Was not informed that SoSpa is under renovation which was previously accessible to suite guests. Front desk said they will get back to me to see if they can offer any form of consolation, did not hear back from them so I had to approach them the next day to express my disappointment. Front desk manager then asked what they could do for me and I requested for the welcome amenities as per my previous stay - but the standard paled in comparison despite this time we are staying as an Accorplus member (previous stays no membership yet). Also, we accidentally left behind my son’s soft toy, having our hands full during checkout - I called and emailed the hotel immediately when we found it missing on the same day that we checked out but hotel staff were unable to locate it the next day. Did not receive a callback for updates despite being promised one. Landscaping was also in dire need of some TLC with overgrown grass and weed covering the once beautiful lawns. Only positive feedback regarding our stay is the quality of the service and food from the F&B establishments. Shoutout to Emma, Liyana and Mani from the Cliff for salvaging our day with a stellar dining experience to celebrate our birthdays. Thankful to Alson at the pool for his hospitality and offering me an extra welcome drink when he recognized me from the previous stay. He also offered to take photos for us against the sunset backdrop. Last but not least, Peter from Kweezeen is a star and made our breakfast experience truly enjoyable with his attention to detail (understanding the challenge when dining with a toddler) and outstanding service standards. Thank you Emma, Liyana, Mani, Alson and Peter. We will definitely be back for the dining experience - just not the hotel stay.
