I had a meeting at the Raffles conference centre, but didn't feel like paying their prices for a place to sleep shave and shower. I was coming from the airport in a town I didn't know, so convenient access was important. The swarm of good local restaurants nearby was a nice bonus. Fortunately I ordered my first meal "medium spicy" - it was still in the top three of hot meals of my life.
