We booked the loft. The wall partition between loft room was not sound proof. We could hear someone banged against the wall intentionally to let us know they are next door. It made us anxious as we did not except this. No one takes guest temperature at hotel entrance as I thought this is mandatory or precautionary measurement is a must. Front office staff are efficient and polite. Bar supervisor is good too. Friendly staff. We are coming back tomorrow again, pls assign a better room.

Beautiful room, great service but 2 unfortunate incident

On my second day at Mecure, I received a notification to make payment via message over the phone so after breakfast, I went down to make payment and put a deposit of $100 for future room service but during lunch time, I received a letter on my table demanding payment of the same amount again. Seems like there was no communication to intercept the letter once payment was made. Second incident was for breakfast. I stayed in the executive loft meaning I could have breakfast in the executive lounge but despite tapping my card at the executive lounge, my card was rejected and I was denied access. It was both embarrassing as I stood there with no hands tapping the card over and over and banging on the door with my shoulder.

i booked the stayay package for my family (2A + 3C). I had the connecting loft rooms which was a lot of fun for the children. The hotel is well located and near malls and restaurants. The only slight issue I had was with the reservations. I had 3 different people responding to my email for the reservation, and eventually the room was booked with a wrong date. I was asked to ignore the Accor computer-generated reservation as the Staycation is managed directly by Mercure Bugis. Unfortunately the reservations team made an error and booked a wrong date. Eventually the Hotel sorted it out as I found out (to my shock) when I arrived with my family in tow. The check-in was therefore delayed. Otherwise the entire experience is very good.

Booked a 2 nights stay in this hotel. This was a repeat stay. Was given a room on the 9th Floor. Room was clean. Room was well cleaned the following day. Perhaps due to covid-19, breakfast didn't feel very wholesome, food was not timely refilled. Understand that guest numbers may be low that's why. Perhaps Mercure could consider providing plated set breakfast instead. Reception was friendly and understanding and accomodated to our needs. Our little boy also had little gifts from the staff, much to our surprise. Good stay overall.

The overall experience in the hotel is nice and makes me feel welcome. I would like to specially thank the concierge team for their service upon our arrival and checking out. as well as the staff a the reception for their assistance on the changes by adding nights during my stay. Unfortunately I didn't get the names of all the boys, I reckon one is from Malaysia. Special thanks and acknowledge for the great service to all the girls at reception too. Ms Kim Jenah is particularly kind and always smiling every single time I stay in the hotel which has been many times. I hope this virus crisis ends soon and everyone is safe at the hotel and so I can travel back again, looking forward.

Rooms way too small.

difficult squeezing in and out of the toilet and bathroom which was located near the front door. No wardrobe or draws to store clothes. With a mattress on the floor, it was very uncomfortable getting out of bed. Mattress was upstairs but toilet downstairs. A night bathroom visit was inconvenient and dangerous. Location was good.

I am a repeat customer and love the hotel and the location, close to Bugis MRT. I made a one night reservation then emailed to ask that the rate be extended for one then two more nights. The rate they charged me was higher than the rate available on the app. Other than that, everything was wonderful during our stay in this difficult time. I look forward to returning as soon as I am able.

Recognition of Platinum level immediately at check in, with benefits honoured. Unfortunately I found loft room very small, not well thought out and style over substance in many features of room and hotel. On entering room, shower cubicle and toilet cubicle immediately on left, so if bath mat used for shower, you walked straight onto it. We had several cases for luggage, nowhere to store them properly in room and nowhere to unpack properly. The bed in upstairs part was in a small area so necessitated climbing over bed to get into it. The bed is very low, so also, at my age, difficult to get into and especially out from. Also, because of age, I require a visit or two to bathroom in middle of night.. There is no night lighting so, in order to safely go down stairs, main lighting had to be left on. Safety notices were placed wrong way round in bed area! Very disappointing egg station at breakfast, I asked for fried eggs over easy and received poached eggs. I then received eggs over hard and on third attempt the eggs were even harder! The bacon was practically inedible, very low quality and over cooked. The roof garden was nice, but most of day in direct sunlight, and swimming pool has nice views, but definitely a lap pool. All staff were helpful and mostly friendly.
