It was a great stay when I checked in around 12plus on 9th December. Hotel staff was kind enough to allow early check in and upgraded my room to a higher floor. I slept well when I stayed at Ibis. Breakfast was good but crowded. However, the crowd was managed accordingly. I will surely be back

Overall is pretty good but the elevator was quite slow and the towels were not that good. After using the towel, your body would be filled with little something all over that was quite annoying.

The staff were helpful, platinum perks good, breakfast very decent for the room price, location is very central and the late check-out incredibly generous. Unfortunately there is one issue putting me off returning: the lifts. Getting to and from the room was an ordeal. There'd be a large crowd waiting for lifts in the lobby. When you finally got one from your room it would stop at virtually every floor.

I was very happy with my stay overall. The hotel's location is very convenient. I just had a short wait until check-in time. I had requested and subsequently cancelled a late check-out request. It didn't show up initially but I showed the cancellation confirmation and all got sorted out. I was able to have a cup of coffee at the cafe in the lobby while waiting for my room. Service there was excellent. My room was quite small, as expected, yet everything was clean and well organized. The entire staff was personable and helpful. If someone didn't know an answer, they found someone else who did. One of them - I think his name was Roger - was particularly good at explaining some matters that were confusing to me. The only thing that was disappointing to me was the self-service laundry. I was dismayed to find that it came automatically with laundry detergent. As someone with a significant allergy to fragrance, I always use my own scent-free detergent. The staff was unable to tell me if the auto-dispensed one had fragrance or not, so I ended up doing a sink/shower wash which took time away from my plans. I did, however, take advantage of the dryer. If I may, I'd like to suggest other machines in the future that allow guests to use their own laundry detergent in the washer, as well as an option of a shorter cycle on the dryer. Overall, if I visit Singapore again, I would stay here again. Thank you. p.s. The elevators were very slow at times. I'm not sure if that's unique to this location or not.
