Around 2:00 AM, someone began knocking on the door one floor above mine. This continued for about 20 minutes, so I notified reception. In the morning, they told me that security had checked both the floor below and the floor above my room, but found no one. I asked to be compensated for the inconvenience, suggesting an increase in my loyalty points for the stay, but this was rejected. Instead, they offered a late checkout. This was useless to me since I was on a business trip. To be honest, there are several very good hotels in the neighborhood, and I will highly likely choose one of them next time. I consider this situation a poor use of my company's money; they paid for me to rest, not for a sleepless night.
