The cold air is sometimes cold and sometimes not cold. really want to be controlled. It's not working at all. You need to climb into the bathtub when taking a shower, which is extremely dangerous for older elders. The shower curtain doesn't work even if it's closed, and the water still flows everywhere.

In particular, we regret the inconvenience caused by the air-conditioning system. As part of our energy-saving operation, the system is designed to stop automatically once the room reaches the set temperature and resume operation when the temperature changes. However, we understand that the cooling performance did not provide the level of comfort you expected, and we apologize for the frustration this caused during your stay. We also appreciate your comments regarding the bathroom layout. We understand your concerns about stepping into the bathtub for shower use, especially for senior guests, and we regret any discomfort or safety concerns this may have created. In addition, we are sorry to hear that the shower curtain did not effectively prevent water from spreading outside the bathtub area. Your feedback has been shared with the relevant departments for review, as guest comfort and safety are extremely important to us. We appreciate your candid comments, which help us identify areas where improvements are needed. The hotel and its facilities is clean and housekeeping was top-notch. Only issuesbis the baby cot seems a bit too small although it is comfortable to sleep in. Also, the breakfast area could be expanded as we didn't get to book with breakfast included.

Overall, my experience at Mercure Ambassador Seoul Hongdae was exceptional. From the moment I arrived until the day I checked out, the service was outstanding and truly made my stay memorable. Before taking a short trip to Japan, I left my luggage at the hotel, and the staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout the process. I would especially like to thank Jonathan and the young gentleman who assisted me with my late-night check-in at around 12am on 27 May. After a long day of travel, their friendliness and professionalism made me feel immediately welcomed. As an Accor Gold member, I was delighted to receive a room upgrade, which was such a wonderful surprise. The additional welcome amenities were also greatly appreciated. The sparkling water and cookies were a lovely touch, and the cookies were absolutely delicious. The room itself was fantastic. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had some of the best sleep during my trip. I particularly liked the layout, with the shower and toilet separated, as well as the functional sink area. The overall design reminded me of Mercure Tokyu Stay Osaka Namba, another property I thoroughly enjoyed staying at. I would also like to recognise the housekeeping team. On one occasion, I left my room quite late, around 12pm, and told the housekeeping staff that there was no need to fully service the room and that fresh towels and rubbish removal would be sufficient. I felt it wasn't fair to ask for a full clean given the late timing. However, when I returned that evening, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the bed had been made, the room was spotless, fresh towels had been provided, and the rubbish had been removed. After a long day exploring Seoul, returning to such a tidy room was one of the best feelings. I would also like to thank Sol and Merida for assisting with my checkout process. Merida, in particular, went above and beyond. She organised a taxi for me and, noticing that I had two large suitcases and one smaller piece of luggage, kindly escorted me down to the lobby. Her thoughtfulness and initiative were greatly appreciated. Another highlight was the 3pm late checkout benefit. My flight wasn't until 8:30pm, so having the extra time allowed me to do some last-minute shopping and freshen up before heading to the airport. It made my departure day far more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you to the entire team at Mercure Ambassador Seoul Hongdae for making my stay so memorable. I genuinely wish I had stayed longer and look forward to returning during my next visit to Seoul. As a content creator, I stay at many hotels throughout the year, and this was genuinely one of my favourite hotel experiences. Your team's hospitality, attention to detail, and exceptional service did not go unnoticed.
