Wonderful view and attractive, comfortable accommodation

I stayed for three nights in a deluxe king room with a fabulous panoramic view of the river, bridges including a pretty red arched one, motorways curving around, city buildings and the opposite bank where I spotted an attractive park which I had to visit! That side of the room was nearly all floor-to-ceiling windows, and I so much enjoyed the view both day and night. The accommodation itself was spacious, comfortable and well-designed. The lounge and desk chair were just the right height, there was a nice little marble-topped table, and a cool curve-shaped cabinet for the cups, glasses, tea, coffee, capsule machine (yay!) and mini bar snacks and drinks at the top, and the fridge below. I liked the curves in the ceiling and internal doorway too. There were lots of TV channels to choose from. A bit more info in English about using the TV remote would've been useful, but I saw some interesting Korean dramas. There was a tablet for hotel info, room service etc which worked well, as did the WiFi. The window drapes and curtains could be operated electronically or manually. The lights were operated from the bed and that also worked well. The desk had three types of plugs for phone charging but I found charging there was slow, and there was only one power socket suitable for my Australian adaptors (unless I pulled out the bedroom lamp or tablet cords, which I did as I had several devices to charge). The bathroom was good with a lovely round bath, separate shower, big marble benchtop and stone tiles. The toilet and shower doors were clear glass which might not suit everyone. I appreciated having bath crystals and body lotion (which not many hotels supply these days). Hotel bathrooms never seem to have enough towel racks and here the two hooks were being used for the provided bathrobes. There was a decent amount of shelving and clothes hanging space. There was a safe, set of scales, iron and ironing board, umbrella and fire extinguisher. Supplies like coffee capsules, teabags and toiletries were good quality. On the third day the housekeeping staff didn't supply a spare toilet roll. I don't know if this was an oversight or a policy on the last day to reduce theft, but it made me anxious in case I ran out. I expect though that I would've been given an extra one if I'd asked though. Staff were nice and spoke some English. I had one breakfast there and it was really good, a big buffet with a range of Korean and western choices, and a yummy cooked egg dish made as you waited. I had one room service meal which had a variety of dishes - mostly good but I found the pork spareribs tough. The cafe/takeaway pastry and sandwich shop in the lobby had great food. There were plenty of shops nearby. The hotel is not far from the Mapo Subway Station, and less than 15 minutes walk to Gongdeok Station where there's access to two metro lines, the AREX airport line and one other line. You can travel directly to central Seoul from there. Issues were minor and I'd be happy to stay again.

Great Hotel, Unforgettable Stay

For my four-day trip to Seoul, I chose the Naru MGallery Hotel for the first two days. Location: Beautiful scenery along the Han River. Conveniently located near Mapo Station, easy to access by métro. Room: River view room. The room was a bit small, but very clean and well-equipped. Welcome Gift: Very generous (2026 times better than the Fairmont across the street). Dining: I only tried breakfast. Definitely worth the price. Sports Facilities: There's a small gym and a standard swimming pool. Surprised to see an outdoor infinity pool, but unfortunately, it was only good for taking pictures in winter. Service: Excellent. Every staff member I encountered did their best. For example, in the breakfast restaurant, I asked for vinegar, and the manager immediately gave it to me. The next day, he recognized me and asked if I needed vinegar, which surprised me greatly. (Later I realized that Chinese vinegar is different from Korean vinegar.) Most noteworthy was Mme. Summer, the staff member at check-in. She was very attentive and detailed in explaining everything about the hotel check-in process—although I still didn't quite understand it afterwards. She also enthusiastically reminisced about her travel experiences in Shanghai, China. The chat was brief but enjoyable. As the saying goes, first impressions matter, and I'm grateful to Mme. Summer for making my first day in Seoul so warm and welcoming. There are 7 billion people in this world, but there are always some you can't forget and look forward to seeing again. I checked on TripAdvisor, and this hotel is ranked number one in Seoul. Based on my experience, it's not fake, you can rest assured to stay. If I have the chance to go to Seoul again, I will still choose the Naru MGallery Ambassador Hotel.

My second time in the hotel and as always staff are great, My special thanks for amazing smile and service goes to angie, She's such a kind person and always made sure that everything was going well for me, Trully professional and helpful, And thanks for Layla,Pamela,Philip for great service, The hotel meets my expectations and everything was exceptional, The only thing I would suggest is creating a 24h dine in menu, Otherwise everything was great, I'll be coming back definitely.
