Our experience at the Fairmont Ambassador was a major disappointment. For a luxury hotel, the rooms already feel surprisingly worn down. The layout is frustrating—the toilet area is cramped, and the sliding door design is poorly conceived, requiring you to constantly move it back and forth across the room. The service also lacked any of the warmth you'd expect at this level. Compared to our recent stay at The Four Seasons, where the service was personable and world-class, the staff here were cold and dismissive. At breakfast, the atmosphere was completely unwelcoming. Aside from one friendly staff member, the team seemed bothered by our presence. It simply doesn't meet 5-star standards and honestly felt more like a mid-tier 3-star Marriott.

convenient location. there was a welcome card with snack, along with memory foam neck support pillows. only thing i was slightly disappointed was the Amex FHR credit conversion, which was a set amount. i feel that was slightly unfair given current time.
