I really liked the hotel and the location. The front desk staff was really nice too, the manager, Karmen? She was a bit cold, but all the other staff were really nice. I think the rooms could be cleaned a bit better and parking was always full. Other than it was a great stay. Decent rooms, friendly staff and everything I asked for they were so helpful. always smiling and kind too.

During check in, your staff the one who ties a green ribbon on her hair, she was great. She was friendly and nice. You should commend her because I saw how she treated other guest too. Very hospitable. However, there’s another staff NOT the ribbon girl, that worked at around 1AM on 1st Feb 2026 at the reception and it was only her on shift. She was very rude. She’s a little fat. Sorry, I can only describe her this way because I didn’t catch her name. I asked her how do I purchase a toothbrush. And she replied, one word, turn. So I said turn? She then replied again with one word, turn. So I apologize and replied in a gentle tone, sorry I don’t understand. She then SHOUTED AT ME and said one word again, turn. In the end, what the staff could’ve said was turn your body it is behind you or even better, hand it to me. But instead she just kept repeating the same word “turn” to me expecting me to understand. Is shouting at your guest, professional? Also if someone already don’t understand what you mean why do u keep explaining in the same way? Please check your employee. She ruined my experience especially since I only stayed for one night. I never had this experience before and I’m a frequent flyer staying at numerous hotels. This was by far the worst service I experienced in Seoul. Really unfortunate.

It was my 3rd time staying at IBIS STYLES Ambassador Seoul Yongsan, while this time I stayed with {Play & Stay} package. Staffs worked efficiently as usual. I would like thank those who helped on Parcel delivery and pick up, and especially send my compliments to Gabriel LIM who solved my problem with patience.

Location is well connected to Yongsan station. Rooms are good for family as we asked for connecting rooms. Housekeeping not always give us complete amenities. I like that I can adjust the room temperature, unlike other hotel like rokaus nearby which only stay at 25C which was too warm for us. I wish the hotel has coin laundry, and the room dont have enough space to hang our clothes. They dont recognise gold status here and the bar close very early.
