The location was great. The room was a bit small, but it had all the basic necessities. Wish they had a rack or something in the bathroom for placing clothes. Korea weather was rather dry; it would be nice if they could provide body lotion in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful. They all know several languages; we were able to communicate easily.

This was my 3rd stay at the Ibis Styles Ambassador (Myeongdong) and it was a satisfying as the last time. Overall a great value for money given its proximity to both the airport shuttle bus stop and the Seoul metro lines; on the topic of location, it's situated just far enough from the noise and crowds of Myeongdong itself but still within very short walking distance of it should one desire to do a bit of tourist shopping there and nearby Namdeamun market. Would definitely stay consider staying here again.

I really enjoyed my time at the hotel and I found the staff to be really friendly and helpful. The room itself was very clean and the bed was comfy. The shower, washroom and toilet was also very clean and the items (toiletries, towels etc.) were of high quality and replaced when needed. However, I found that the shower, in the morning would lose water pressure when trying to use the hot water. The hot water pressure would return to normal after waiting a little while, so it didn't cause too much of an issue for me, but if you need to leave the hotel early it could be a problem.

Convenient location, with amazing outdoor bath and sauna. Showers with lockers and all facial/bath products provided, made for a carefree and relaxing stay. Staff extended closing hours of the bath for me, as I accidentally locked myself out and wasted some time. Very grateful.

Less than 5 minutes' walk to the main Myeongdong shopping area. Room is a little small but I guess it's the norm in Myeongdong. Hotels have lots of facilities though I did not use most of them. Great comfy bed. Minor complaints - did not replenish sanitary bags daily and strangely I find dust specks on my phone's screen every morning - maybe can look into better air filter via the central heater/ air conditioner.

I was initially was going to stay here for six days, then explore more of Korea, but my plans changed and as I liked this place so much, I extended my stay. Getting to the hotel from the airport was an easy bus ride and short walk. Very efficient check-in, then to my spacious, quiet modern, upgraded room :) Clean, with a comfortable bed, and quiet. What more can you ask? I opted to include breakfast, and was not disappointed with the selection. There was a good range of continental and local options. And the coffee machine knocked out a nice cappuccino. The hotel's location is excellent, being close to 2 metro stops, and a convenience store is meters away. And there is a cool Luft Cafe nearby. I even walked to the Seoul Tower. The staff was helpful in answering my touristy questions. If I'm ever is Seoul again, I will stay here.

Location: Away from the crowd but with everything you need at doorstep.. convenient stores, restaurants and coffee shops.. 5 mins walk to subway and the heart of Myeongdong where you can shop and eat like crazy. Room: Small but clean. Service: Excellent!! Staff were able to communicate in fluent English. They were all very friendly, helpful and attentive. During our stay, we requested for a room change due to non-stop machinery noise that came from nowhere all through the night. Chris, the front desk staff, helped immediately to put us into a new room and apologised a million times for what had happened. After we have moved to the new room, the hotel manager even sent us a dessert as a gesture to express apology. Although we were not happy with the noisy room but we would however like to thank Chris and the hotel manager for their effort to make us happy again by what they have done. Bonus: Hotel provides free self-serve laundry service. Just pack light and wash your clothes for free!

Overall is clean and tidy. The only point to improve is the air ventilation in the shower room is very very noise.
