Prime location right next to Myeong-dong shopping street. It was easy for me and my loved one to go, back and forth, after each shopping spree and every meal we had. The staff was extremely helpful and attended to all the services we had asked for.

The tidiness and receptionist is very good. However, the toilet and the bath room is too small, no hanger or storage to put the stuff and the clothes. The location is far from satisfaction with the comparison of the other ibis hotel in Myedong.

But, it takes about 5 minutes to get shopping area and 2 subway stations line 3& 4 by walk. I hope you refer to this information. The room is quite narrow, however still comfortable. For Muslims like us, is hard for us to pray. Other than that, all facilities are superb. We can get laundry for free at Level B1. I'll recommended to my friends to stay here if they are coming to Seoul

Excellent Hotel in the glam district of Myeongdong

Just returned from an amazing first trip to Seoul staying at the ibis styles ambassador Myeongdong. I stayed here for 6 nights and cannot fault the hotel at all. The location of the hotel is great, it’s within 5 minute walk of both Myeongdong and Chungmuro subway stations. It is also just off the end of one of the bustling streets of myeongdong shopping district. This district is so much fun and has so many korea skincare and cosmetic stores. There are plenty of shops, markets and traditional and Modern restaurants nearby. The hotel is a high standard, the lobby was great, the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful a spoke great English. The hotel room was large and had good amenities. The breakfast at the hotel was on the 21st floor and had stunning views over Seoul including the Seoul tower and Namsan park. The breakfast was fairly limited in options but it was high quality. I loved my stay at this hotel and would highly recommend staying here especially for the price and excellent location. If I am lucky enough to get to Seoul again I will be staying here!

The carpet was obviously not vacuumed. Please check the floor under the beds to see all the rotten crumbs and rubbish that has accumulated over the years.

When I read your comments, I fully understand how you felt disappointed and uncomfortable. As I am a front office manger, I could look back on staffs' service and conversation with guests. I hope you feel assured that your experience was not taken lightly and I have raised the issue with all staffs of Front Office. I already shared your experience with them who must provide proper service to guests and make guests have comfortable stay. I will strive to reinforce the training of guest service and communication to give my team members appropriate direction not to happen same situation again. We will be pay more attention on guests and strive to provide better service experience. Also, Housekeeping department and Engineer team, front office team will discuss on improvement for the mirror which faces a shower room. Lastly, regarding of room cleanliness, I already have spoken to a manager of Housekeeping department about your room experience. They will do reinforce the training of room cleaning to prevent future occurrence based on your feedback. Furthermore, for sure, Housekeeping supervisors will do double-check the rooms which are already cleaned by Housekeeping staffs. Once again, I truly apologize for causing concern. When I arrived there around 11am, I was requesting early check in and told the lady I don't mind paying extra for that cuz my mom was tired for the whole night flight. She said all fully booked and couldn't helpe. But around 10 mins later, another guys come in and asked the same question whether they could check in earlier. She checked the system and let them checked in straight away. Apart from that, everything was ok and all other staffs are nice too.
