Loved our stay at Mercure Hotel Hongdae. The area is very lively throughout the day and has great nightlife. A number of eating options are there within 200 meters from the hotel. Bus Stop, Subway are within 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel was quite nice and clean with great and welcoming staff members. Our appreciation for the entire team especially Ms Day Kim who helped us book to extend our stay. The room was nice and clean, albeit a bit small (but thats pretty much the case in Seoul). Would recommend the hotel and would choose it for my next visit to Seoul.

Staff members are friendly, even I require do not disturb cleaning will initially ask me needs for water or towels. Check in staff really helpful, even got upgraded to a superior room !

Love the location of the hotel as it's conveniently located within walking distance to eateries and the Hongik University station, but the Standard Room is a tad small. The shower room could also make do with a shelf for guests to place toiletries.
