We had such an amazing stay at Raffles Bali, where we celebrated our pre-anniversary and my birthday. From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. We were picked up in a BMW X7, and when we got to the resort, we were warmly welcomed by our butler Aditya and the management team. Check-in was quick and smooth, and the welcome drink was super refreshing—such a nice start. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a Hilltop Villa, and honestly, it made the whole trip even better. The villa was beautifully designed—modern, luxurious, and very well maintained. The private pool and garden were spotless, and the ocean view was just stunning. It felt super peaceful and private, exactly what we needed. Since we were celebrating, they also decorated the room with flowers, which made it feel extra special and romantic. The complimentary minibar had really good quality options, and the welcome amenities were a lovely touch. We also loved the complimentary beach bag and hat—such nice keepsakes to take home. One of the biggest highlights was our anniversary dinner at the Secret Cave. It was such a unique and intimate experience. Ratih from Rumari took great care of us—she was warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful the whole night. The dishes were super creative, using ingredients like onion, carrot, beetroot, potato, and ginger in really interesting ways, and everything tasted amazing. We had breakfast at Rumari every day, and it was consistently excellent. The à la carte menu had lots of great options, and every dish was beautifully presented—honestly better than many restaurants outside. Big thanks to Ikhsan, Imelda, and Widya for always being so friendly and attentive. The spa was also a highlight—really relaxing, private, and well maintained. The treatments themselves were great, but it would have been even better without the construction noise in the background, which did affect the overall relaxation a bit. That said, it was still a good experience overall. The infinity pool overlooking the ocean was beautiful, and the entire resort—from the gardens to the private beach—was kept in excellent condition. We also really liked that Rumari supports local farmers with their 80/20 philosophy—it’s a nice touch to the dining experience. It was great seeing Chef Gaetan come out to greet guests and introduce the dishes—you can really feel the passion from the team. We also had dinner at Loloan Beach Bar & Grill and had a great time. The pizza, lobster spaghetti, and grilled calamari were all delicious, and the sunset beachfront setting was beautiful. It did get a bit hot and there were some flies, but the staff handled it well. We picked up a few souvenirs too—their branded water bottles look really nice and are great to bring home. Check-out was just as smooth as check-in. The team helped with our luggage and arranged a late check-out, and we were transferred to the airport in a BMW iX. What really stood out was that they even helped us through airport check-in and escorted us all the way to the gate—such amazing service. Overall, the whole stay felt like a peaceful escape. Every staff member was warm and welcoming, and the butler team handled everything quickly and smoothly. As an Accor member, we truly felt valued and well taken care of.

The plan for this holiday was to switch off, relax and enjoy the resort and Jimbaran. We knew we would get to do this at Raffles Bali but the team still exceeded our expectations. It stared being greeted at the airbridge as we got off our plane and then escorted through the airport to a waiting iX3 to take us to the resort. Following a quick checkin at the lobby we jumped in one of the resorts many buggies with our Butler to be taken to our villa (number 31 of 32). I had said that we were celebrating a birthday and our Butler had arranged to have a birthday cake, a bouquet and a flower petal design on the floor... a lot more than a simple birthday message on the bed. Over the next couple of days the team very quickly learnt all our preferences and were ready for us whenever. This included knowing details about our breakfast and drink preferences and as Accor Plus members all our benefits were applied automatically, and this happened regardless of the team member we met... they all seemed to know who we were and made us feel extremely welcomed and looked after. We meet Henri the Hotel GM a couple of times and he was as equally committed to ensuring we had a wonderful stay. There was nothing to really complain about during our stay and with only 32 villa's on the property the restaurant, pool, gym etc never felt crowded. In fact there were times we had many facilities to ourselves, it occasionally felt like we were the only ones at the resort. However There is a bit of development starting up in Jimbaran and there is a construction happening next to the resort property so there is some construction noise, but not that intrusive. The Gym is adequate for a resort of this size with machines and free weights that have you covered for most routines. It is however on the small side and feels a little cramped when having to share the space. It could also do with some minor updates, especially the rack weights and range of free weights.

Our stay at Raffles Bali was truly exceptional. Chris, our butler, was incredibly professional—attentive to every detail, genuinely kind, and consistently courteous. His service elevated the entire experience. The entire team was equally impressive, delivering warm and seamless hospitality throughout our stay. This was, without a doubt, one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had.
