It's a busy hotel for families. Reviews are mixed and so are my feelings about it. We apparently booked in a busy period and paid a fair bit more than you would pay in other periods. It was ok but I would not return. Food and drinks are quite expensive in the hotel even compared to other hotels and quality just ok. We specifically booked this hotel for the seemingly nice kids pools. But once there, we found them to be small and dated. The kids club is nice though.

One of my favorite hotel in Bali, nice location surrounding by good restaurants and shops and what I love the most is the pool ! This time got upgraded to Junior Suite, very nice room, spacious and comfortable, the service from staff is very good as always.

We were in movenpick jimbaran for 3 nights the hotel was ok but reception staff were not warm and friendly at all. We had taken half board as a meal option but I would not recommend anyone to purchase half board or an all inclusive package as it is extremely limited in terms of food option we have stayed at other all inclusive hotels which have the entire food menu available to you but movenpick only had half or less than half the menu available.

We loved it at movenpick, we actually went to a fancier resort afterwards but prefered movenpick! We have a 5 and 10 yo and the family loft room is perfect, the pools are well cared for and the right size for the property. The beach and supermarket are a short walk away and the plaza in the front of the building is excellent, hosting both cultural shows and a few great restaurants and boba! The food at movenpick and the nearby restaurants was excellent, we were really blown away by the quality and none of us got bali belly even though the adults used the tap water for tooth brushing. We will come back again! An excellent family holiday.
We've noticed a lot of hotels don't have smart tvs in the area (even the fancy ones) but movenpick does! netflix etc! say what you will about screens but we really enjoy our movie nights, and what else are kids going to be doing at 7pm. There was one very very noisy night where there some kind of music event until 10pm but it was the only night and staying at the family lofts was as far from the music as you could get, but also because its a loft we had no one above us which was excellent noise wise. The staff were very friendly but not intrusive (unlike other resorts).

We really enjoyed our stay at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali. The kids had an excellent time, and the resort was perfect for our young family. The management team was excellent, welcoming, and very accommodating, making our stay enjoyable and stress-free. We would highly recommend this resort to families with young children and would happily stay here again!

We cannot fault the Movenpick Hotel. This is our second stay and we were once again blown away at the top quality food, generous portions, beautiful hotel rooms and gardens. Exquisite pool. Lots of choice at the restaurants. The food at the Adriana was even better, with a personalised visit from the chef! We really rested and enjoyed every moment. I cannot wait to visit again.

We recently stayed for one night at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali as our final stop before flying home to Sydney. Having stayed here previously, we were looking forward to finishing our holiday at a resort we had enjoyed in the past. Unfortunately, this time around, we left feeling quite disappointed.
During our stay, we were disturbed by noise from the room above us throughout the night and again early in the morning, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
The breakfast experience was another letdown. The dining area felt absolutely chaotic, and the quality and selection of the food didn't meet the standard we would expect from a five-star resort. We were also disappointed to see how dirty the pool was early each morning. It appeared that more attention was being given to sweeping leaves from the surrounding ground than to ensuring the pool itself was clean and inviting.
We also dined at the rooftop Mexican restaurant on our first night and felt the quality had declined noticeably since our previous visit 12 months ago.
On a positive note, the staff were wonderful, and the housekeeping team deserve a special mention for being absolutely amazing. Their service and attitude were a highlight of our stay.
Unfortunately, despite the lovely staff, the overall resort experience and facilities no longer felt five-star to us. Having stayed at The Hyatt and several other resorts during this trip, the contrast was noticeable. Mövenpick felt much more like a children's playground than the relaxing, luxurious resort experience we had hoped for.
It's disappointing to feel this way about a resort we had previously enjoyed. We appreciate that it is a family-friendly property, but we believe there is a balance to be struck between catering for families and maintaining the cleanliness, quality and atmosphere expected of a five-star resort.
We hope management takes this feedback on board, as the resort has so much potential. Sadly, based on this visit, we wouldn't rate the overall experience at the same level as some of the other resorts we stayed at during our Bali holiday.

We had such a great experience, the rooms and facilities were so clean and amazing. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating actually making sure we had the best stay. The spa on site was worth the effort. Overall the whole family loved our stay, our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Don't expect to sleep late in the morning, starting from 6am it's very noisy in the corridors. That might be the cons of a "kid oriented" hotel. but the hotel didn't put any measure in place to try to lower the "tone" of these little guest or their parents. Breakfast is very good, service is good, but at these price for a night, you'd expect some calm and quiet.

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were clean, the food was outstanding, and the staff were amazing. However, we noticed that two of the days staff members were welding over the pool. Having spent my life in construction, using an arc welder that is plugged in to an electrical socket, over water is a very dangerous decision. It meant that my family and I lost two pool days as I refused to put them in the water while people were working.
