We had a warm welcome at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali from Astri, Tolha and Anugrah. They walked us through what the hotel offers and invited us to the ALL Members’ social hour on our check-in day. As a Platinum member, we were upgraded to a suite, which we appreciated. The suite overlooked the pool and gave fast access to the kids club, kids pool and restaurant. It made moving around with children easy. The lobby gave a bright and open first impression. Everything looked fresh and well maintained. The wooden slide at the entrance was a nice touch and showed straight away that the hotel leans towards families. The suite came with tasty amenities for our occasion, and the extra bed arrived quickly. The pool options worked well for us. There’s a long pool, a sandy beach pool, a pool with inflatables and a kids pool. Even though the hotel isn’t beachfront, the walkway to Jimbaran beach made it simple to head out for a seafood dinner by the water. The hotel connects directly to Samasta Village, which adds a few dining options. We also tried Adriana Cocina & Bar after Tolha recommended it. The tacos were fresh and the drinks were good. The modern Mexican theme fit the place, and the staff were easygoing and helpful. Breakfast was the weak point. Both the western and Indonesian options felt closer to a 3-star offering than a 5-star one. We skipped one breakfast during our three-night stay. Chocolate hour also fell short, with limited variety and average quality. Overall, the stay was comfortable with strong service and family-friendly facilities. With a better breakfast experience, it would be an even stronger pick.

This is my second time staying at Movenpick Bali. My family and I really love the vibe and atmosphere here, because it’s really chill. We also love the pool especially the kids pool. Our toddler really has a lot of fun here. They also have great service, especially Mba Emy at the front desk.

Very beautiful hotel, very friendly staff on check in, and other services, made us feel welcome and home. Great location, 5 mins walk to Jimbaran Beach, and the hotel has a beautiful layout, lots of shops and restaurants in the hotel complex and nearby, and a very good swimming pool for kids and family. We stayed at a Junior Suite that has a beautiful view to the ocean and the airport, very bright room, and the size is great, and it's airy. Everything is good, except the breakfast is a bit disappointing. The pastry, danishes look old and not fresh. Also there is no clear signage on how to access the roof top bar and restaurant, we were stuck on level 7 and wondering how to get there for a while. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay. We will be back in the near future.
