The rooftop wedding went on too late 11pm and was very loud. We asked for a quiet room and instead got out near the wedding venue and our daughter couldn’t sleep.

We had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali. The staff were warm and attentive, the rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the location near Jimbaran Beach made the experience very relaxing. I think the rooms, experiences, activities, location, hotel ambience, and overall facilities are amazing especially for you who have kids. Your trip will be very memorable here. Location and access are also amazing, 4 minutes walk to beach, you can also find wahaha, teazzi, and other popular restaurant nearby the hotel. However, from local perspective, i would say the breakfast is far from good compared to other high stars hotels I have ever stayed. The food doesn’t taste good and the variety of Food especially indonesian food is very limited. But maybe it is understandable as majority the visitors are tourists. But it would be good if the hotel can review again the breakfast menu. And the other thing, i am very disappointed as before the stay, i have requested some simple complimentary for my daughter’s birthday. Simple greetings on the mirror or simple towel craft just for social media posting. It has been acknowledged with the whatsapp admin. Whatsapp admin said that movenpick will be very happy to celebrate our daughters birthday by giving us slice of cake and towel art. Then we have been asked about this during our check in process, even the receptionist asked and confirmed the name of our daughter. So we believe that the message is clear. But unfortunately we didn’t get anything up til out checkout period. I didn’t write this as if I really want that freebies (cake or towel art or any other complimentary), but i think when expectation doesnt meet the actual, we feel a bit dissapointed with this. But overall, we have a good experience staying here.
