Pleasant Birthday weekend at Nusa Dua, Bali

It was our Mom's birthday weekend and we decided to enjoy a family getaway together. The staff were very nice and prepared a small birthday cake with candles and a special message. The rooms had very good cold AC. Rooms were clean although they were not large. There is limited space to hang towels and wet swimsuits in the toile or in the room overall. The breakfast had good choices but were not outstanding in taste. The free parking space was easily accessible but not well lit at night.

Compare with other hotel at Nusa dua mercure was amazing.. Friendly staff from security, front desk, waiters especially hk staff they clean very neat and tidy perfect.. Garden, pool, well maintain... Food job Will be back soon to mercure Nusa dua.. Thanks

Although only short it was an absolute pleasure. From the first moment we arrived we were allowed an early check in, room was beautiful and the overall service and customer service shown to us by all staff including the pool staff was without fault.

It is not a very satisfied staying. I don’t feel the privilege of being accor plus member. No member priority. Poor bar dinner is so slow. One female staff at poor bar counter dont know English at all. She come and confirm my orders for more than 3 times ! So irritating. She doesnt know I bought packaging. My lunch is paid by voucher. I forgot her name . She is so incapable at her work. I suggest general manager review her job performance. Because of her , the stay is so unpleasant .

First of all, my reservation (bayu buana) or mercure reservation gave me wrong type of room. I have clearly note request to have double room but they noted to twin! Its a simple thing, but its bad for me. Second, I dont like the room layout, where toilet separated with bath room, its very troublesome! We'll never comeback to mercure nusa dua.

Maintenance lacking rooms

The first room, 225 smelt of mold, this caused us serious headaches. Mold is dangerous to people's health. The air-conditioning in the room was unable to be adjusted, the exhaust fan in the shower didn't work, the USB connection to the TV want working. We now requested a new room. The second room 339 once more the air-conditioning in the room would not adjust temperature. It was set to maximum on. Adjusting it's settings did nothing. The only way to control the temperature was by opening a door or turning the system off. The shower in this room also didn't work correctly, neither did the tap on the sink and the door lock led didn't work anymore no doubt due to the large amount of condensation it collects from the air conditioning being always on.

Check in was a chaos, because of an up grade, I didn‘t get a room where I had booked for, and the the big chaos started. They made it up with a dinner! But it costed an whole afternoon what was lost time, stress and a lot of changes.

seems like the housekeeper forgot to put some toothpaste/brush and also sanitary bag in my room on the first night I stayed but nevermind. the food was good also i love it since there's a menu for the vegetarians. the room service and concierge also helped a lot, thank you.

I like that staff are so friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. The beach area is on the good spot. We stayed for 4 nights but 3 out of 4 nights was not good at night. The people from the rooms nearby or around, they are talking so lound and keep opening&shut the door all night. Also I could hear the TV from next door. The room should be better with soundproof sytem. But overall I still like the hotel, next time in Bali I would stay there again.

Staffs are very friendly and helpful, the only cons is the "double bed" is just two twin beds merged into one. I hope I stayed a little bit longer to experience all the facilities.. Will come back again for sure!
