19Bro70 Solo travel - TripAdvisor review

From the moment I arrived I was surrounded by attention and care. I love Accor hotels for their high level. Mercure Ist Bomonti provides a good level of service for a fire price. I would not have felt such a pleasantly if a hotel guest relation assistant Pantea had not been helped me. She did her best to provide me all I needed, I really felt a great care. I think that even taking into account that a few things must be a bit improved this hotel is definitely good for this price. It's also thanks to the hard work of the staff.

K2131 Families - TripAdvisor review

We stayed 5 nights and booked 2 rooms. Both rooms were very large and beautiful! Mr. Pekin (the manager) was very professional and caring! I had to go to Germany for a week and I left my luggage there. I was so happy with my stay that I booked a room on my return to stay there again. I highly recommend this hotel and already referred 2 families from California for their vacation.

We stayed in the hotel for a week. The guest relations lady was super helpful and very nice. The night shift receptionist is a bit aggressive. There is a smoking smell in the rooms, even the non smoking rooms. Breakfast has very limited choices. I’d say this is a 3 stars hotel not 5 stars. A bit pricy for in my opinion 3 stars hotel.

This was by some distance the worst hotel I have stayed in for some time. A shame, as it has the location and the facilities to be so much better. As mentioned in previous reviews, most of the staff did the bare minimum to assist (front desk being an exception) - the lady in the gym/pool area appeared annoyed to seeing a paying guest, in case they interrupted her conversation with her friends. The gym itself was filthy and had no water. Pool area seemed ok. I'd love to tell you about the bar, but having waited for a member of staff for around 15 minutes and even enquired at the front desk, no staff member showed up (approx 7pm) - although its not like I received my usual Accor 'Welcome Drink' voucher in any case! The room was average, but again no drinking water. Breakfast was also average. I have since contacted the hotel on at least 5 occasions to request a copy of my invoice for my company accounts - not once have they responded or even acknowledged what I would have thought was a straightforward request. I have since tried to get this document though Accor Customer Services, and it appears that they too are being ignored. In summary, don't bother - there are many better options in the locality.More

NJP1989 Business - TripAdvisor review

This hotel was really quite a disappointing hotel. My woes started at check-in when i was told they had canceled my booking as i had not checked in by X time (can't remember when that was) Unfortunately my flight had been delayed and the roads in Istanbul are slow. Apparently this hotel have never experienced delayed travel. I have but have never had a room canceled. As a result, my suite was not available on night 1 and i had to hang around until about 2pm on the second day to change rooms, wasting a day of my stay in istanbul. I had to have my room card re-programmed no less than 5 times in the first 24hrs often being let into my room by maintenance staff or cleaners (with neither confirming its actually my room, a theifs paradise) There were building works going on throughout the hotel by the lifts at one stage i had to clean powdered plaster off my suit jacket that had landed on me whilst exiting a lift. The hotel is in need of some serious deep cleaning. The staff overall, with 1 or 2 exceptions will do the absolute bare minimum to make your stay tolerable
