Didn’t feel like an Ibis Style, not worth the money. Was told on arrival that I had to pay €200 for any damages and it was in the T&Cs however did not see it anywhere on the T&Cs. The room was already filled with damages so was worried I would get accused of it so took photos of all the damages in case. Breakfast was very basic. Could have stayed at much cheaper hotel that would have been nicer.

Regarding the deposit, we ask all our clients without exception to leave a guarantee for all the services that we offer on site (Bar, catering, parking, tourist taxes...) and this allows you to leave us the key at the reception without any departure formality, and avoid the wait in the morning to pick up your invoice, you receive it by email! And it is well noted on the T&Cs that you receive with the confirmation of reservation , if you wish I can send them back to you. I give the staff in the kitchen 5 / 5 for their service and friendliness. The breakfast is what the Germans refer to as a "farmer's breakfast" because it has mainly meats and bread. There are other options, but overall it's a fairly good spread. In the rooms there's a chair, bed, and shower / toilet facilities and that's it. The only cups are 2 paper cups for brushing teeth and no toiletries other than liquid soap are supplied. In my next hotel outside of Paris, a Novotel, for less money than this Ibis, I even had a kitchen, microwave, coffee machine and supplies, cooktop and cups / glasses / cutlery. So, I really don't see the Ibis Romainville as value for money. Nevertheless, it did the job. The included breakfast does add a bit of value, but then you're too full to try other options in local patisseries. There is a local Carrefour supermarket to pick up groceries. I did like my stay there, but I probably wouldn't stay again.
