When checking out am asked for my passport. I’ve already given you that and you have all of the information on my profile. Sorry Monsieur, but we don’t keep that information and we can’t access your profile. Then it comes to paying. Please present your credit card. You already have that, I say, just use what is on file and email me a copy of the invoice. Sorry Monsieur, but we don’t keep that information, you will need to present your credit card. Could you email me a copy of the invoice please. Sorry Monsieur, but we don’t have your email address. Apart from David, the excellent concierge, the staff were just rude. We ate in the hotel one night only and that was one night too many. Of the 4 items on the menu 2 were unavailable. The wait staff almost threw our bread on the table, we weren’t asked how our steak should be cooked, we were ignored by the young lady serving at the bar when we went to order a drink. We really felt that we were not welcome in their domain.

Smaller room than I had at Mercure Villette but more expensive. Uninspiring view of Hotel Ibis in front of my window. We ate in the hotel the first night, which was frankly awful. I have reviewed in Trip Advisor. Breakfast not as good as I’ve had in Ibis plus male staff not very friendly. That being said the reception area is good, and the location ditto for my needs. Garden very pretty and will be lovely to use once the seats have been cleaned.
