Stayed for a week with my two daughters in two rooms on the 8th floor. It is a suburb of Paris but well connected with M5 metro and the tram and also short walk from RER/SCNF train. Hotel is clean and staff is friendly and attentive. Breakfast is good. Rooms are on small side and while there is a large window that can be opened, the a/c is minimal so summer nights can get hot. And open windows does mean bugs!

In spite of outside temperatures topping 40 degrees in the heatwave, the hotel’s air conditioning proved highly effective and consistently ensured a comfortable night’s sleep.
Good breakfast and good public transport links, but the hotel was badly let down by the carpet in my room which had several cigarette-burn marks on it. As an Accor member I have come to expect better than this: it was totally unacceptable.

When checking out am asked for my passport. I’ve already given you that and you have all of the information on my profile. Apart from David, the excellent concierge, the staff were just rude. We ate in the hotel one night only and that was one night too many. Of the 4 items on the menu 2 were unavailable. The wait staff almost threw our bread on the table, we weren’t asked how our steak should be cooked, we were ignored by the young lady serving at the bar when we went to order a drink. We really felt that we were not welcome in their domain.

Smaller room than I had at Mercure Villette but more expensive. Uninspiring view of Hotel Ibis in front of my window. We ate in the hotel the first night, which was frankly awful. I have reviewed in Trip Advisor. Breakfast not as good as I’ve had in Ibis plus male staff not very friendly. That being said the reception area is good, and the location ditto for my needs. Garden very pretty and will be lovely to use once the seats have been cleaned.

We went to the France v England six nations match with England Rugby Travel who booked the Saturday night. We added Friday and Sunday nights and reception kept us in the same rooms for all the nights. The metro was close and we travelled around Paris and to the game easily.
