Very attentive concierge staff quickly directed me to the correct floor for checkin, the 20th. Checkin was accomplished quickly and in a very friendly way by the front desk staff member. My room, well it was suite, was large and luxioursly appointed, with superb views away from the Rv Han. Many activities were controlled by wall or bedside switches, and their operation was self evident. As I was only able to stay 1 night, I chose dinner near the bar to the left of reception on 20th Floor. While only pasta, the meal was very good. My suite's bathroom boasted a separate toilet and shower, as well as a freestanding large bath. Caters for all tastes. The KS bed was most comfortable, and there were an array of choices for pillows. Breakfast in Voisin on 22nd Floor was also very good. A huge choice for food and drink. I arranged a late checkout, a significant privelege of the Loyalty Program, and this was arranged without a problem at checkin, and similarly no issue when I did checkout, with the same person that had checked me in 24hrs before. All in all, a superb experience. If you are left with the impression that I was highly impressed, you are correct.

The rooms were maintained meticulously and daily service was great. Pity they do not yet have lounge access. The restaurant has a great view but food was of average taste. The facility in the room was exceptional.

I previously stayed at this hotel last year and it was freshly opened apparently, with few reviews. My first stay was impeccable. I decided to stay longer this time, 3 nights. I requested an early check-in if possible as I arrived very early in the city, they confirmed through email they could definitely try to accommodate (for a fee) but when I arrived they let me know the check-in time was 3pm sharp. They found a solution to accommodate my request but I felt a bit pushy / annoying because of it, I’m very thankful they could accommodate though (I also said I was happy to pay extra for any room they had available, but apparently no room was available at 12pm). They made me check-in and check-out from the ground floor, which was also a bit weird because I never got to the real “lobby” - on the 20th floor I think. It made the whole experience a little uncomfortable, as during check-in a lot of outside guests were coming in and out for an event, and it was messy. There was no space for me to wait with my luggage also, if I had to stay/wait for check-in until 3pm…My room was great, similar as last year (amazing views and great bed) but the bathtub was extremely small, during my first stay I had a way larger tub and it was perfect. I’m not sure if there’s differently shaped/sized bathrooms but this one was slightly small for my frame sadly. I tried the pool also, and you can’t swim in it if you don’t have a pool cap. Obviously, I didn’t have one and didn’t really feel like wearing one so I just stayed next to the pool. Overall, I paid way more than I did last year and it felt slightly underwhelming compared. But the hotel remains very nice and has lots to offer compared to others, the location is ideal as well.
