Well located, good facilities, but few need to improve

First thing, the ambience at the hotel was amazing. The staff also very welcoming and serve good hospitality, buat there are few point are quite disappointing. The first thing is, we order corner suite but it almost like the regular one room, nothing special and none of the facilities are made exclusively for suite room (executive lounge or exclusive reservation desk exclusively for accor member/suite room, that usually accor 5 star did). Secondly, the amenities on our room its not represent korea at all. I expecting there's some welcoming amenities that represent korea, as i visit few accor hotel in other countries, they give us snack/ traditional cake that represent their country. Not macarons. Third, the aircon/heater doesnt works well, its too cold on the midnight even we set it into the warmest degrees. Fourth, the most disappointing is, at the page of reservation that mention our room (corner suite) is including 3 cocktail at rumpus room, but when we there, the staff said it was miss information at the page. So we didn't have complimentary cocktail, but they give us 1 highball as compliment. It make us need to spend at rooftop bar on our own expenses. And last, we are trying to redeem the welcome drink on 13 December when we are checking out, but the bar staff only give us option that only canned softdrink can be redeemed, due to they have event on the day. So i just redeem 1 can of sprite, that a shame.

Forgot a piece of luggage in the trunk of the taxi from the airport. The staff went above and beyond to recover my lost possessions and return them to me. Incredible service and will absolutely visit again during my next trip to Seoul!

I wanted to treat myself for 11 nights in Seoul at the end of 3 months travelling and am very glad I chose The Mondrian - it was perfect - lovely room, helpful staff, fabulous gym and pool, and the Prestige bar was chef’s kiss good.
