Easy to find, near Gare de l'Est and bus stops. Relatively quiet as there is a church opposite. Friendly and efficient greeting at desk, lift worked. Room was as advertised and was clean with tattoo themed wall. Shower was great though fixing inadequate and needed to hold shower head. Breakfast excellent, especially the fresh orange juice. We were able to leave our luggage after checkout, all staff very helpful and approachable. I would stay here again. The building could do with a bit of tlc as there were a few dents in the wall and a slightly wobbly fixing.

The hotel is very well situated for accessing public transport and there are so some nice places to eat in the area. The bathroom was very small and the light in the bedroom is poor once you move away from your bed. There is surprisingly little street noise given the location. There are no facilities for hot drinks in the rooms but there is free access to tea/coffee available in the breakfast room. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the rooms are not as small as some city centre ones are. All in all, a reasonably priced hotel in a convenient location for exploring Paris.
