I do not wish for this to be published but purely for you to know. When I checked into the room there was a dirty used towel on the back of the door. Also the spoons in the breakfast buffet were dirty, I presume hand washed. I did not feel like the young uninsterested men at check in would be helpful. Plus I didnt want them coming to my room, I also did not feel safe generally. The window in the room 16 opens to a flat roof adjancent to other full length windows meaning anyone from each room could walk up to another room. I couldnt leave the window open without feeling unsafe. You should put bars infront of it. The front of the hotel was littered with garbage bags.

The issues you have raised regarding the cleanliness of the room and the breakfast facilities are completely unacceptable and in no way meet the standards we expect from our staff. These issues have been immediately reported to the relevant departments so that a strict reminder of procedures can be issued. Regarding the welcome, we regret that you did not experience the quality of service we strive to offer to each of our guests. We would also like to reassure you regarding safety matters. Access to the rooftops is not permitted, and they are not freely accessible between rooms. Our establishment complies with current safety standards. Finally, regarding the bin bags at the entrance, these are placed on the public highway in accordance with the council’s collection rules and are not under the direct management of the establishment. We do, however, understand that this may have affected your first impression and we apologise for this.
