Being right by the station makes commuting and catching the TGV incredibly convenient, especially if you have an early train. However, because it is so close to a major railway hub, the surrounding area can feel a bit sketchy and chaotic, particularly in the evenings. It didn’t always feel entirely safe walking around late at night. 🛏️ Room & Amenities The room size was just adequate. If you are traveling with large suitcases, you will likely find it quite tight and cramped to open them up fully. The amenities and room fixtures were just okay—nothing spectacular, but functional enough for a short transit stay. 🍳 Breakfast The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. It didn’t quite live up to expectations, offering a fairly basic selection that could definitely be improved in terms of variety and quality. ⚖️ Overall Verdict If you are looking for a practical, no-frills place to stay right next to the station for easy transit, this hotel does the job. I do not wish for this to be published but purely for you to know. When I checked into the room there was a dirty used towel on the back of the door. Also the spoons in the breakfast buffet were dirty, I presume hand washed. I did not feel like the young uninsterested men at check in would be helpful. Plus I didnt want them coming to my room, I also did not feel safe generally. The window in the room 16 opens to a flat roof adjancent to other full length windows meaning anyone from each room could walk up to another room. I couldnt leave the window open without feeling unsafe. You should put bars infront of it. The front of the hotel was littered with garbage bags.

Regarding the welcome, we regret that you did not experience the quality of service we strive to offer to each of our guests. We would also like to reassure you regarding safety matters. Access to the rooftops is not permitted, and they are not freely accessible between rooms. Our establishment complies with current safety standards. Finally, regarding the bin bags at the entrance, these are placed on the public highway in accordance with the council’s collection rules and are not under the direct management of the establishment. We do, however, understand that this may have affected your first impression and we apologise for this. The hotel is very well located, next to the Gare de l'Est, close to the Gare du Nord, and next to a metro stop (line 4). I had a spacious room on a high floor. No noise from the street in the room. Airconditioned room. Some noise from the venitlation system. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

I have stayed in the hotel many times now and I am indeed a fan due to the location and basic comfort. Your staff members are always friendly. Nevertheless - one thing did really annoy me though. The lift was out of order yesterday (18 March) - not hugely dramatic but I would have preferred not to carry my heavy suitcase down the narrow staircase - I am glad I wasn't staying on the top floor. This is in fact at least the second time when I stayed there that the lift was out of order.

The room is closed T. the patio, it was noisy and with smoking smell. The lights were not working on the early morning, no one answered the call at the front desk nor answering emails, once I finally able T. talk T. the front desk and ask for repairing, the problem wasn’t solved after I went out for more than one hour. Real disappointment with Accor indeed.
