Good location and very good breakfast, room size was very disappointing and old decor in need of repair as we were staying for 7 nights the room facilities were non existent. No where to put cloths, 4 coat hangers on a rail and no draws or cupboards at all, the room was cleaned and fresh towels every day was good, three days continuously we asked for extra pillows at reception but didn't receive them, and when we saw I think a supervisor talking to the cleaner we got the extra pillows. the pics on the website, obviously taken when it first opened many years ago. All the staf were very helpful and obliging, appart from one man in his late 40s maybe, his mobile phone was more important than answering our queries properly or letting us back in through the door when we returned after being to a restaurant.

The bathrooms are moldy. The soap dispenser is unhygienic. The carpet was dirty with dust, and it contains many stains. Overall I think it is not adequate for three stars. I have been in 3 stars hotels in Spain that are cleaner.

Very easy to reach from Gare du Nord. Convenient location for walking and transport. Adequate breakfast. Public areas smart and modern but bedroom and bathroom in need of care. Early time of check in and left luggage facility excellent

Awful experience, dirty and shabby throughout No where near what I’d expect from an Ibis Styles, nothing in the room in the way of water or a kettle for tea and coffee as stated in the sites advert. Very disappointed

I arrived very late. My room was like a dormitory. I didn’t need 3 beds. I could smell the chicha smoke from the bar across the street. Cleaning and renovation work started before 9 am. I had to call reception because the shower didn’t turn on easily. Otherwise, the breakfast was good.

Near Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord, easy to take public means of transport to go around. Clean room, helpful and friendly staff. Nice stay in Paris. Just a disappointed thing during our stayed, the hotel staff called a taxi for us but this taxi driver cheated us (his meter suddenly leaped from 24.3EUR to 35.5EUR when we stopped). We would like to make claim to the taxi company but the hotel staff cannot help us.

Very disappointed with the stay as we found bed bugs on our last evening and my wife was bitten on the foot a few times. She couldn’t sleep that night and for two days now her foot has been so itchy.

Ideally located but poorly maintained

Overall I was satisfied, the staff was very helpful and kind. Quick check in-out, satisfying breakfast, great coffee. However the rooms were very poorly maintained, bathrooms especially and not particularly clean. Would choose it again because of location near station and metro stop.
