Me and my friend went here for a weekend getaway at the start of December, when we got there we were given our room key and went up to our room, there was somebody in the room that we got told to go check into, the card works and everything. We went back downstairs and told the receptionist and it took her 45 minutes to get back to us, very unhelpful and lack of communication. Apart from that, the location is good with the Metro station right next to it and there is a really nice Italian just the road. If you are two young girls beware of the town about a 10 minute walk me and my friend got followed around there all the way to the Eiffel Tower, so be careful with that. The breakfast was decent and the room was tidy apart from the bath, which had cracks in it where I am unfortunate hurt my foot.

Ok so 'bad' point first it is a hotel that clearly needs some investment and updating (I did actually see rooms being refurbished during my stay) but thats literally my only negative thing to say. Onto the 'good', the hotel is in a fabulous location, close to great transport links Gare Du L' Est, Gare Du Nord and the metro so finding our way round Paris was easy. There are sone nice restaurants, shops and bakery's in the area too. The reception staff were lovely and friendly even letting us check in a bit early with no fuss. They were very helpful and accommodating. The housekeeping staff we encountered were fabulous, our room was always clean and tidy and we had no issues with the beds (they were very comfy) or the bedding. The choice at breakfast is continental (no hot options apart from boiled eggs) but there was plenty of choice from pastries, to fruit, bread to cereal, ham to cheese- i never went hungry which was good when our days were spent exploring Paris as much as we could. The bathroom was slightly dark could do with more light but if you switch the light on the mirror on you can add more light into the room. What we wanted was somewhere clean and safe to use as a Base and we got exactly that. When I come back to Paris I would definitely stay here again.

From the pictures of the hotel and the money I paid I thought was going to be nice. The staff was nice and friendly but the experience was terrible. A room hotel without a refrigerator (I wasn’t expecting to have 2 free bottles of water inside but at least the refrigerator so I can buy myself) not a table to sit and have a snack, room dirty, bathroom not properly cleaned, 2 dispensers of hand soap and shampoo which I guess they both were hand soap not topped up. 1 face towel provided instead of 2 and 2 body towels( all smelling like a dog was dead there) I try to take the extra pillow which was provided, I was just about to vomit(the pillow cover was dirty full of stains) Very very disappointed for a 3*** hotel and money paid.

Cela étant, vos remarques concernant la propreté de la salle de bain, l’état du linge et l’oreiller supplémentaire ont été prises très au sérieux. Ces points ont été transmis immédiatement au service des étages, et je ferai personnellement un point avec notre Gouvernante Générale afin que des contrôles renforcés soient mis en place.
