Great location just outside the Gare du Nord, perfect for catching the early Eurostar. Hotel was comfortable & friendly, everything that was needed.

I was early to check in, and i was asked if a room next to the street was okay. It was okay for mee and i could berely hear the sounds of the street. I slept great. Room was nice and tidy. Personel was very helpfull and friendly. Location was perhaps 100m from the metro, and 150m from the trainstation.

The staff’s attitude was so intimidating that I couldn’t even ask for what I needed. I wanted to use the water dispenser and the microwave at night, but there was no proper assistance at all. They were sitting on a chair with their hands in their pockets, answering only “yes” or “no” in a curt manner. I have never seen a hotel like this in my life. I felt so uncomfortable that I just went back to my room. I’ve stayed at many ibis hotels around the world, but I honestly don’t understand what was going on here.
