First trip to Paris. Hotel near Paris Gare Du Nord Train Station.

This is our first trip Paris and France. We do not know what to expect. Since we travel from London to Paris via Eurostar train, we found this is the only hotel within Paris Gare Du Nord Train Station which had big room within 200 euros price range. This hotel located just opposite building to Paris Gare Du Nord Train Station which makes traveling via Paris Metro very easy. We did not take any breakfast option at the hotel because there are many French cafes around the hotel area. This hotel located in old building so the lift is very small (only fit 2 persons at a time) and during check-in and check-out peak time you may have to wait for the lift. Otherwise you have to take the spiral stairs. Room is clean and with decent decoration. Hotel staff able to speak English so no issue to communicate with hotel staff. I would highly recommend this hotel for couple and business trip people and not for family with many children due to the lift capacity limitation. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in this hotel.

The double room was small and comfortable for a brief stay for one person. Although I was on the 1st floor facing the steeet, the soundproofing was more than adequate. Security was fine as long as there was someone at the desk, which there’s normally was. Cable channels were inadequate—only one in English that seemed to have AI-generated news and headlines All rooms should have in-room safes
