The hotel was quieter than I expected, which was nice -- I had a great sleep. The shower seemed very new and the bedsheets were lovely. Being so close to Gare du Nord (which was extremely busy) was very convenient. The reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Goedendag, Onze excuses voor deze situatie. We begrijpen heel goed dat dit voor u verontrustend kan zijn geweest. We willen graag verduidelijken dat het eerste bedrag dat op uw rekening werd weergegeven, een bankautorisatie (pre-autorisatie) betrof en geen definitieve afschrijving. Deze tijdelijke autorisatie wordt uitgevoerd om de reservering te garanderen. Het bedrag kan echter als gereserveerd of geblokkeerd op uw rekening verschijnen, wat inderdaad verwarrend kan zijn. De betaling is vervolgens correct verwerkt en de situatie is uiteindelijk rechtgezet. Onze excuses voor het ongemak en we begrijpen dat deze situatie bij uw aankomst onaangenaam kan zijn geweest. Check in didn't look anything like the pictures. We even second guessed we were in the correct place. Staff was accommodating after trying to out two families on different floors. Especially with a 6 year old grand daughter. The elevator was so small only one person could go up at a time. The rooms were incredibly small. My son and his family had to get 2 rooms because they had a 6 year old and the hotel said they didn't have room for a kid in the room. They got adjoining rooms, but they really weren't. The two rooms had a foyer that didn't lock and you needed a room key to go from room to room. We don't consider that safe. The reason we gave a 5 rating was simply location to the train station and the helpful staff, and the windows blocked majority of the street noise, which was loud. The rooms were clean, but they were so small. No ac is another issue we dealt with and left us a little warm because we couldnt sleep with the street noise and had to close the window.

Concernant les chambres, leurs superficies sont conformes aux standards des hôtels de centre-ville et sont indiquées lors de la réservation. Pour votre famille, notre équipe a fait son maximum afin de proposer des chambres situées à proximité, dans la limite des disponibilités. Les chambres communicantes de notre établissement sont aménagées selon la configuration du bâtiment, et nous prenons bonne note de votre ressenti à ce sujet. Enfin, concernant la climatisation, nous comprenons que cela ait pu impacter votre confort, notamment pendant les périodes de fortes chaleurs. Nous sommes sincèrement désolés pour cette gêne. Nous vous remercions encore pour vos remarques, qui nous aident à améliorer la qualité de nos services, et espérons avoir l'occasion de vous accueillir à nouveau dans de meilleures conditions. Convenient for Gare du Nord. Clean and comfortable with an efficient air conditioning system in the room. Breakfast area was quite small but the usual extensive selection. Room was very quiet, a surprise given the location.
