There was no security, so anyone could follow you up to your floor and there was no key card access on the main doors as you walk through to your room The TV did not work. My window wouldn’t lock properly, the staff were lovely. I wouldn’t stay again as I did not feel safe

The location is convenient (super close to gare de l’est and gare du nord, you can get anywhere from those stations) although the vicinity itself isn’t that nice nor interesting. The common area / lobby is nice although tiny. The staff are just lovely and really helpful. As for security, the hotel didn’t feel that safe - no security, anyone has the access to the building, stairs and the lift, card access only at your room doors. As for the rooms, they’re super tiny, especially around the bed (there’s only one spot where you can open your suitcase). Shower is really small, if you’re tall or bigger you won’t be able to use it comfortably. The room had AC/heating unit which was a necessity in November. At one point the lock to my room stopped working (could be unlocked without the card), the staff tried to solve the issue right away, it took over 30 minutes and I had to stay there to watch my things in case the lock couldn’t be fixed. Luckily it was a relatively easy fix and I could leave my room closed. Overall, lovely staff and convenient location, but I don’t think I’d stay here again.

The hotel is well located, and very friendly staff; but there was quite some noise outside our window coming from a ventilation system that made it difficult to fall asleep
