We had a great time at ibis Paris Gare de l’est 10eme. The lady who checked us in ( collected our baggage since we arrived early ) made our stay very pleasant. She is so nice and so welcoming and my daughter (age 8) still talks about her. All of the other staff members we encountered at reception or in the breakfast area are so nice and welcoming. Rooms are very clean and we are very happy!!

Close to the train but massively overpriced for what you get.

My organisation uses a corporate travel company to make all travel and hotel bookings. I’d stayed a week in Ibis Brussels and upon arrival in Paris I was advised that my reservation had been cancelled because the travel company had not confirmed the booking, this was something the travel company had done. The whole experience caused great distress and frustration as I needed to find accommodation for a weeks business trip. I was able to get a reservation at the Hilton for two nights and returned to Paris Gare de L'Est 10ème for the remainder of my stay. Although I understand Ibis are budget hotels when staying for more than a few days on business tea and coffee making facilities would be most welcome in the bedrooms.
