Fairmont Riyadh – Very Disappointing Stay Unfortunately, my recent stay was not a good experience at all. The maid’s room in the apartment had a strong cigarette smell, despite the unit being clearly designated as non-smoking. In addition, after housekeeping serviced the apartment, they left the bathroom doors open, and when I returned later, the entire place smelled strongly of sewage. I contacted reception to report the issue, but I was told that it was too late to do anything, which was very disappointing and unhelpful. To make matters worse, the windows had small openings that allowed street noise and cold wind to come into the apartment, making it uncomfortable, especially at night. Overall, this stay did not meet the standards expected from a Fairmont property, and I would not choose to stay here again unless these issues are seriously addressed.
