They did not at all take into account your membership status. Welcoming and kindness of reception staff is way below usual Novotel standards. Sound proof could be better. Gym is nice. Conveniently located in town.

Room was a bit tired and plug points are hidden behind the curtain. Only one English channel and no options to order in food. Taxi drivers kept taking me out of town - so a location update might be useful.

I am a gold member for Accor group of hotels. So I have stayed at this hotel many times. However every time there will be one or the other issue! Bath tub not draining water cleanly, no towels in the bathroom, AC not working properly! This needs to be fixed by Accor urgently.

Well, I booked a non smoking room, and when I arrived apparently I am not allowed to work the car which is ridiculous. I was told I can only use the valet, so I said normally in valet I have a choice cause if I give the key then they don’t take responsibility in case something happens. Here, I am forced to give the key, so when I argued obviously the valet guy got pissed and went running to reception. He told me you park outside. I did. And when straight up to the lovely room. When I entered it looked smaller than what I took a few years ago. Anyway, I decided to take a shower and when I went into the bathroom something looked odd. I couldn’t figure out what it was till I went in the shower when I realised there’s no bath tub. And it looked like a hospital shower with only a curtain. And by mistake I pull the alarm so I realised it’s a room for the disabled. Everything was off, I was extremely disappointed because I wasn’t informed. They should’ve informed me before giving me the ion and giving me the choice to take it or not. I called the reception he confirmed that it’s a room for the disabled but there’s no other room to change me to. He was so rude to say well if you don’t like it you can leave the hotel and go somewhere else I said wel if you told me that earlier I would’ve but not it’s 1 am and I’m. It going around Riyadh looking for a place to stay. I was actually planning to extend my stay but after that ordeal I left in the morning and found another hotel that treats you nicely. What happened is not hospitality. Shame on you. This is really disappointing. I’m not bothered to mention anymore cause you don’t deserve to get better. It was really bad.

In the 21sr century a woman has to stay in her room and not go aanywhere because the gym and the swimming pool are only for men and do not have any schedule or window where women can go

Overall, it was good. The air conditioning system made loud noises once or twice an hour. There are no electrical outlets by the bed for charging phones. Housekeeping was very good and professional. The restaurant food was average, but the servers were very good. When I checked in for 15 nights, I left a gift for the manager at the front desk. I did not expect a thank you or acknowledgement, and I never received one. The printer in the business room with two computers did not work. When I return in January for 12-15 nights, I'm hoping for better accommodations, and certainly not suite #710.

1) I requested non-smoking room. When I cam to check in they reception gave me a room in a smoking floor. When I asked for the one I requested he nicely told me that no available rooms now and I can change it tomorrow. As a chest allergic I had very bad night and next day after got back to the hotel the receptionist who was different person told me that no preference of smoking/non-smoking floors and any one can smoke in his room. That really frustrated me and I was about to fight with him for telling just a lie in a very trivial way as if he is talking to a child. I told him "Listen I am getting out to have my dinner and when I get back I will change my room or check out without paying a cent for the previous night nor today". When I get back and was frustrated and prepared for a fight, another receptionist just changed my room to a non-smoking floor. 2) The new room was fine but had a sever problem with the plumbing. The drainage of the tub was easily filled of water and takes very long time to drain. 3) The lights in all rooms are very low ... I could not read in bed before sleeping. 4) The TV channels in the 2 rooms are not adjusted and most of them are not working. 5) Breakfast variety was not enough, I couldn't eat anything valid for my Keto Diet except fried eggs all my stay. Even I asked for Greek Yogurt and they did not know it. 6) All the services numbers are not responding all the time. House keeping never responded. 7) Most of the time operators/room services/house keeping guys couldn't understand English nor Non-Saudi Arabic. 8) Usually requesting from reception instead of House Keeping and I get the house keeping service after so long time with different things from what I requested. 9) A/C in the second room was making noise sometimes and non-stoping

On arriving from airport far a 3 nights stay, I dicovered that for 1st night I was moved to Novotel suites , where the housing is subpar (Room 401), I had to change location to main Novotel for the 2nd & 3rd night. Housing was much better (Room 310). I did signal to reception a possible leakage issue in the halway, as the carpet was wet, despite no spillage from bathroom...not a real problem yet, but may turn into a problem later on.
