Any benefit for Diamond members was just overlooked - had to wait 5 mns to get into the breakfast, bringing my kid in the lounge created a 30 mns confusion situation with multiple people involved - extra bed wasn't complimentary as it's usually the case at any other Fairmont I went to

A beautiful elegant hotel with staff who take the time to give friendly, professional service. The elegant decor in the foyer & cafe, along with stunning fresh flowers all throughout the hotel makes the stay even more inviting. One evening live cello playing in the cafe/foyer which was very relaxing and special. Fresh fruit in the room plus little chocolate/nut biscuits & treats you cannot get anywhere else on the hotel - recycling of the Nespresso pods ( including decaf). Housekeeping had rooms immaculate plus taking the time for friendly, engaged encounters in the corridors - often missing from other hotels. Concierge and bell service was faultless. Breakfast selection was immense with so many choices of different cuisines.

A great hotel with good facilities. Rooms were very comfortable and this is a great option if you are staying for a couple of days - work or leisure Close to the airport.. If you are staying for a longer period, as we did. There is nothing much around in the evening and weekend as this is more geared up for business travellers, In my opinion. Eating options become limited as Riyadh traffic can make taxis or driving to alternative restaurants time consuming. The staff here were fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming, always willing to help. Although the Maitre D in the Italian was not friendly or welcoming. He is most definitely the exception though as overall the service was excellent.
