Hotel is brand new and well located. rooms are nice. First night we didn't enjoy our room and the team was very helpful - changed it next day

Still has teething issues after opening. Staff unfamiliar with procedures.

We were invited to the opening ceremony and stayed over night. The team did a tremendous job, both in the food offering, display and service, as well as a very attentive and friendly service-crew. Chapeau - for this only two weeks into operating the hotel!

Having the privilege of being amongst the first guests at the new Movenpick Hotel Basel, my biggest praise goes to the staff. Having to manage a brand new property and the pressure of hosting a large international group would have been a massive undertaking. The staff were all very attentive and accommodating.
