Booked the hotel on the basis it had air-con during the late June European heatwave - however the room was extremely warm and there was no way to reduce the temperature. The only method was a small panel by the door which had three settings and it was already on max - there wasn't even an audible fan so I can only assume this did nothing but provide false hope. Secondly, this was my first time using an Accor group hotel as a Gold member - I was very disappointed that this status was not acknowledged - I received no offer of complimentary drink or discussion of available room upgrade that I believe are standard - I had to ask what benefit Gold membership actually provided and all I received was a melted chocolate bar (.....presumably as the Aircon in reception did not work either).

We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short.
