Very bad night sleep on first night. Hard and uncomfortable bed. Woke up the following morning in pain, and very sore back - to the extent I had difficulty walking and bending over. Reception manager was unable ( and seemed uninterested) to find an alternative room with a softer mattress and said that all rooms with softer mattresses were unavailable and had been specially pre-booked.

Hello, We are sincerely sorry to hear that your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the comfort of the bed and the discomfort it caused. However, we would like to clarify that our receptionist did their best to assist you by offering you the opportunity to try the last three available rooms on that day. Unfortunately, none of them seemed to meet your expectations in terms of comfort. In an effort to compensate for the inconvenience, we also offered you a complimentary pizza and a drink, which you declined. Our experience at the hotel was very good. We had breakfast early because we had an early flight, and the staff kindly allowed us to eat before the scheduled time. Thank you

The room was big and the hotel was well placed near the train station and the bus station. Also, the hotel was calm.

Walked from St Louis train station 8-10 minutes and then caught bus into Basel 604. We caught a tram back to St Louis and then walked the rest of the way. The room was clean exactly what we expected from a cheaper hotel. No issues. Staff friendly and helpful on arrival and free taxi ride to airport ideal. We booked that on arrival.
