Unfortunately, the start and end of my stay were disappointing, although everything in between was very good. I arrived after a long day hoping to check in and get some rest. While the receptionist was very friendly, the room I was initially given hadn’t been cleaned and looked as though someone had just checked out, so I had to return to reception to be assigned a new room. After that, my stay improved considerably. I had a great night’s sleep, and breakfast was excellent, with incredibly helpful and friendly staff. However, the experience ended on a low note when I went back to my room for a nap after breakfast and was woken up by a member of the cleaning staff opening my door and entering the room, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being displayed. This happened around 45 minutes before checkout, and I was told I needed to hurry up, which was quite unsettling.
