Worst ever experience. Had a room like a cage, no WiFi and staff told me it is my new IPhone 17 and not the hotels fault.. unbelievable. Room had window which could not be opened, went to restaurant at Nocotel next door where I was told they had no free table despite half the lobby being free. A totally ghastly and unfriendly bar manager told me to go elsewhere. NEVER EVER again Total waste of money and time

I am writing to formally raise a complaint about my recent stay at your property. I am with LexisNexis (RELX Group), and we book several hundred nights globally each year across various hotels. I selected this Ibis Budget due to its proximity to my business meeting the next morning. My expectations were modest, but what I experienced fell far below even that. I was assigned room 634. The room itself was dated, poorly insulated against noise from passing trains, and furnished with what looked like an old bunk bed. I felt uncomfortable but I couldn't get another room, as the hotel was fully booked according to the receptionist. At around 1:00 AM, I woke up to find another guest standing inside my room, claiming it was his. Both of us had access cards with the same handwritten room number. When we went to reception together, it turned out that staff had mistakenly assigned my occupied room again to another guest. I want to emphasize that I don’t blame the receptionist personally - mistakes happen - but it’s shocking that in 2025, your booking system allows such a breach to occur. This was a serious security failure that could have led to an even worse outcome. Needless to say, I barely slept afterward and performed poorly in my business meeting the next morning as a result. I’ve already shared this experience with my leadership team, and we are reviewing whether to remove Accor hotels from our company’s global travel program. I would appreciate a formal response and explanation as to how this could have happened and what corrective measures you intend to take to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Sincerely, Silvan B. si…

I have stayed in many Ibis Budget across Europe but this one stood as among the worse in design. 1. There was no place to keep the suitcase 2. The toiket door doesnt have a knob by design 3. There is no exhaust for the toilet leading to retention of stink after usage 4. Plug points to charge were at ground level not table level 5. Not enough lighting and when packing to checkout I almost missed a few items. 6. There is so much wasted space and the shower area is so small. The designer did a very bad job in design and layout. The Novotel beside this - i have stayed and its so much better.

Parking is a bit expensive for 1 night should be included if you have a room booked. Just used as a stop off to Italy. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Good location.
