I never recommend this hotel. Staff extremely rude. They never help and adress any solution to the problems. There is a misleading information in accor website and not stating parking price. When we came we were surprised 26CHF price for parking as we never saw in the website. We complaint about it but they just did not care. Staff said go and stay somewhere else which I found extremely rude. Also, shower was really bad. Never continuously use hot/mild water during the bath. One cold, one extremely hot we really could not adjust.

Enjoyed my stay in Basel and had not stayed at a Novatel hotel. This was my second visit to Basel, and if I visit again, I will definitely stay at this location. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is to die for.

During the check-in: 1. The reception colleague charged the whole cost of stay without asking for the correct invoice address. So a wrong address got into the invoice which took some time to correct during checkout. And the comment from the colleague was - “why didn’t you tell us the correct address? “ (I didn’t even know she was charging the whole cost). But the first point - why even charge the whole cost during the check-in? 2. Also, this may have happened in the past, but why block incidentals on business user’s credit card? Especially if breakfast is included?
