Overall no complaints. Room very warm, and the thermostat didn't react to my instructions. Therefore a warm night with lower sleep quality than expected (perhaps just my room, no 207?)

I’ve stayed at the hotel for many nights for business purposes. Breakfast is decent and location is good. But the staff is either inexperienced or ignorant. The booking is always done through my company and paid by my company. But at checkout the receptionist insisted there’s nothing on the record and charged my credit card. Afterwards I had to get my company to call them and of course if they actually looked the payment was already done by my company. They finally refunded my credit card but didn’t acknowledge the mistake or attempt an apology. Also the TV can’t be connected via phone so it’s pretty much useless. Staff advised if we had a HDMI cable that would work. Who carries around HDMI cable to travel? I ask.

Convenient across the road from the office. Nice , spacious and clean rooms and good beds. breakfast is of good quality and has sufficient variety. Point of improvement is that the temperature control in the room is bad. The room was to warm and could not cool down enough

From the moment we checked in till the end of our stay, Lea at the reception was taking the best care of us making us feel at home and beloved! Later in the evening we had a dinner at the restaurant and we had the best care from Youseff! I am the top elite level member of three different chains and have seen a lot of top notch hotels all around, but these two employees made Novotel Basel City very special among all others!
