Excellent location, in easy walking distance to the old town, public transport and shopping. The room (studio) was a good size, clean and well equipped. Comfortable beds. Reception staff were helpful and friendly. Good gym. The free coffee and croissants in the lobby were a pleasant surprise. My only complaint is that the heating (provided through the air-conditioning unit) could not be switched off or turned down, which meant it was noisy and too warm during the night. We asked about this at Reception, and although the lady was very friendly and tried to help, was unable to solve the problem, and at the weekend there was no technical staff. It was not a big problem, and after the first sleepless night, we used earplugs and managed to sleep.

We really liked staying here. The location is superb you can pretty much walk everywhere in the city if you don't want to do that you can also take public transport easily and with Basel card it is free! The staff was very nice. Our room was very clean when we arrived. We haven't had breakfast but there is some snacks and treats right beside the reception which was very nice as well. Overall, we were satisfied with our room and would like to stay here again.
