Two issues: 1) The double bed was 2 smaller beds pushed together, so if you ended up in the middle the beds would shift and you end up sliding into a crevasse. 2) I was billed for a night that I did not use. Was staying as part of a conference (Lindt & Sprungli), I understand that there was a mix-up in providing the latest information to the hotel, but I would have expected that given that the conference was a sizable bit of business for the hotel, they would be more flexible with such a simple change. The dates were not reviewed with me when checking in, only discovered this upon checkout. Explained that I was not satisfied with this, but reception simple stated "this is our policy".

Nice Hotel - close to the old town

I never got my wake up call even though I confirmed 3 times and was told yes at 6:30 am. Which would give me time to catch the train from Bern to Zurich airport. When I woke up after 8 am I called to ask what happened to my wake up call I was told I did not have one. This is after it was confirmed 3 times day before. To say I was beyond angry and livid is an understatement. So I ended up missing the flight and also the second flight and barely made the 3rd flight. Which was not direct and I had to transfer and it took me 5 hours longer to get home. And the fun part the flight was fully booked and only the middle seat available. Not friken fun! This is the second time I had issues when checking out. Never coming back again I should have just stayed at the Novotel where the rooms are huge and always a welcome gift in my room. And always got the wake up call there.
