In general was good, but the bed was very bad , squeaked every time you moved.

This hotel in Bern is much too expensive compared to its services. Being a gold client, I am entitled to a free parking space. This makes the price "acceptable" and slightly more interesting than other hotels, but when I came back from the dinner in the city center, there were no spaces left. The hotel reception told me to go to the Bern Expo parking. Bad surprise : I had to pay another CHF 44.00 for the night. And I was finally told that : - The hotel does not have a preferential rate or discount. - The hotel does not guarantee a parking space. The worst, you are only informed once you are faced with the problem. The day after, I saw lovely hotels in Thun for the same final price. Three days later, I paid half the price for a better Accor hotel close to Paris...

centrally located and reasonably priced for last minute booking

Centrally located. Free public Transport access provided by the hotel within Bern was appreciated. The tram next to the hotel has excellent frequency even on a weekends. My 4 year old son adored it. The only suggestion that I would have is to include breakfast at the price that was suggested online. A simple Croissant and coffee would be fine. But nothing to complain as we booked the hotel during the peak season within a couple of days of travel.

It is a budget hotel with good location.
