Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand your disappointment at not being able to use a hairdryer when you needed one. We would, however, like to clarify that ibis budget is an economy hotel designed around a simple and functional concept, and hairdryers are not part of the standard equipment provided in every room. While the hotel benefits from some services of the neighbouring ibis, this does not mean that both hotels offer exactly the same facilities or level of equipment. The hairdryer available at reception was unfortunately already on loan to another guest, while the additional units were temporarily out of service. Our colleague was therefore simply unable to provide another one. She was also asked to retrieve immediately the hairdryer that had already been lent to the other guest. We trust it is understandable that, out of respect for that guest, interrupting their use of it in order to satisfy another request was not a reasonable solution we could consider — even to rescue a hairstyle before a business trip. We regret that this particular item had such an impact on your overall experience. The “budget” concept necessarily involves certain choices regarding services and facilities, while our team naturally remains available to offer any solution that is realistically possible and respectful of all our guests.

De parking wordt apart aangeboden voor CHF 12 per 24 uur, zodat deze kosten niet in de kamerprijs worden opgenomen voor gasten die geen parkeerplaats nodig hebben.

There was no hair dryer in the room. My son went to reception to ask for it. But people there responded that they have only one hair dryer (for two hotels!!!) and it is already occupied. Later I went to reception to clarify if it is true. One lady was not nice. I asked to talk to manager. She answered that she is the only manager today. I asked to check if maybe it is already available, because I have long hair and it was necessary for me to use it. She told that she has already checked and that’s all. Another lady was nice, she tried to apologise and explained that other hair driers are broken. I went on my business trip to Zurich without Hair styling. One hair dryer for two hotels… I was disappointed

The rooms were small. One of the beds was inside a wardrobe with its doors open. It was so cramped that the sleeping person's head was inside the wardrobe with half of their body extending out through the doors. The pillows were bad. The air conditioning was set to 18, but it was useless—it was hot and wasn't working properly."

Our family rooms are designed to be simple and compact, with a third fold-down bed integrated into the furniture to optimise the available space. We understand, however, that this layout may have felt too cramped. The air conditioning should naturally provide a comfortable temperature, and we regret that it did not operate properly during your stay.

Bad experience. The mattress was really hard (thin and low quality). We asked at the reception for some alternative (topper, changing mattress or changing room) and they could not help. Dissapointing. Finally, we decided to leave and book at the Hotel de la Rose. Much better. Although we lost our money and they did not help with any kind of refund.

Dear Ms , We regret that the firmness of the mattress did not suit your personal comfort preferences and that the options available on site did not meet your expectations. As your booking was made under a non-cancellable and non-refundable rate, the conditions selected at the time of booking remained applicable despite your decision to leave the hotel. We also note your comparison with a 3-star hotel, whose positioning and services naturally differ from those of our 1-star property.

I was very satisfied by the personnel, the breakfast but the rooms are so small that there is no furniture and you have to put your suitcase on the ground (as the cupboard is occupied by an additional bed) and it was very unpleasant when waking up at night to see silver fish running around, in the clothes, in the towels, on the curtains. I gave this info when leaving, knowing it's extremely difficult to get rid of these bugs. I hope I did not bring back some at home...
