Decent place to stay in a quiet area of Bern. Away from the maddening crowd of the city, but only a 5 minute bus journey which is free as you get a online free public transport voucher. Well worthwhile for getting out and about around Bern. The room was decent if a little small. Bed was good. All amenities worked and the breakfast was good. I went about 08.50 everyday for breakfast and there were plenty of seats and also plenty of food (hot - bacon, BAKED BEANS Brilliant, hash potatoes, etc and cold foods) . All in all a good place to stay.

I stayed with Ibis Styles during a short hiking holiday, as I wanted a connection to the train station without having to pay extortionately. This hotel was in such a quiet neighbourhood, that I forgot I was in a city! Delightful and attentive staff and very generous breakfast (which is included in the price of the rooms). The room was spacious and had a large TV with a variety of channels. The soap and shampoo provided was good. Overall, a very pleasant experience and I can recommend it for any type of holiday in Switzerland.
