Stayed at the hotel in May during a conference. I must say the staff here is the best and better than many of the hotels I have stayed in France. During my stay on the 1st Floor the housekeeping hung all my clothes which were scattered around the room in the almirah and this was the winner for me. The hospitality here was wonderful from the breakfast staff to the check-in. Breakfast options are really good and fulfilling. Location is very good. Rooms have a balcony to sit out in the evenings. You are given a bottle of water which needs to be filled from outside the room with a choice of cold water or sparkling. For some this may be interesting. I prefer to have water bottles in the room with glasses . overall a nice experience.

I booked a suite, the second highest and expensive category of room, and was bitterly disappointed. The hotel is well situated and the staff are excellent, but I regard my room as not worth the price. It had no balcony/terrace nor a picture windows, just 2 small windows in the living area with a limited and unattractive view over the carpark, and 1 window over the stairs. Cheaper executive rooms were had better set-ups. The suite was split level, with the bedroom 14 stairs up from the living room and not having an en-suite toilet made it totally unacceptable for someone who needs to go often. The toilet is off of the living room, downstairs. Another issue was that that restaurant meals could not be charged back to the room but had to be paid on the spot. The restaurant is a separate business, but they can charge the included breakfast back, so "Why not other meals?".

Love this beautiful hotel near the deauville beach. Easy walked to the beach. Room was comfortable and big. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Would love to find a chance to go back for a longer stay. Highly recommended!

The Novotel is very well positioned at 2 minutes from the vast beach and 5 minutes from the town centre. We were made very welcome by Cécile on arrival.
