I called the hotel on the day of my arrival to find out how to get into the hotel. The receptionist asked me if I had made a reservation, and I told them that I hadn't because it wasn't mentioned anywhere. I had to get out of my car and wait at reception, which then realised that the bell wasn't connected: no apologies and they opened the gate for me... Once I arrived to check in, the receptionist told me that one of the 2 rooms I'd booked had a glass bathroom in the middle of the room... which I refused and they struggled to find me a new room. I also immediately asked for a table in the restaurant and was only offered one at 9.30pm as the restaurant was full and I had to insist to be offered one at 7pm. Finally, the ultimate was the use of my welcome drink: 4 of us wanted a coffee or tea and the waiter charged me for 3 drinks after confirming with reception. This is the 1st time in 20 years of loyalty to your brand that I have been charged for drinks in this way. The day before we were at the Ibis Styles in St Malo and the welcome drinks had been offered to all of us.

L'accueil de votre hôtel ne correspond pas à un Novotel Pour la piscine les familles ne respectent rien les enfants font ce qu'ils veulent c'est dommage ils ne sont pas seuls retour du petit déjeuner et on est à la porte nos badges ne fonctionnent les 3 !!! commentaire à notre départ à l'accueil et ça fait rire la prochaine fois j'irai dans un 5 étoiles et pas chez vous par contre petit déjeuner accueil parfait

As an Accor Gold member, we have tried most of the Accor range over the years. We are familiar with Deauville and we thought we’d try this higher end hotel. As we were not travelling too far for the first night, we asked for an early check in. We were told to phone in the morning of arrival. We did. We were told No (although we could park up before 4pm). Not very special The reception team on arrival were pretty grumpy. Our Executive room was stylish, but it soon became clear that the wooden floors were noisy at points in the night. We had intended using the gym, but it was hopelessly inadequate. The pool was also far too small for the number of children flocking there. The breakfast quality was good, but at the 9am rush hour, the room could barely cope. As the French would say, the overall prix/qualite was poor. A shame as the hotel’s location was very good.

We checked in late at 9 and the room was ready but when we entered the room it was a room for disabled which is fine but some things wasn’t convenient for us , so we called and asked to change the room they said because the next day people will be checking in and it is fully booked . Do you give priority to guests who might or might not check in or guests who already checked in this was really really disappointing
